My head was leaned against the wall, my tiredness dragging it down. The adrenaline was completely gone, the pain was prominent in the flesh of my leg. I felt the blood trickling down it on the floor, the flow not fast but steady. I groaned when I attempted to move, realizing that I couldn't walk without the knife stabbing me even deeper.

After Chishiyas's surprising offer to help me, I couldn't figure out why would he do that. 10 minutes ago he didn't acknowledge my wound, even making jokes about my miserable state. I looked at him lazily, my expression neutral. He was in the same spot, the little worn-out paper in his hand. His eyes scanned it, turning it to sides trying to figure out what the lines on it meant.

I was perplexed by the fact that even though he intends to help me, he still didn't bother to correspond to my existence. That man probably wouldn't care even if this building was on fire.

„You know, if you offer something to do, you should probably actually do it." I remarked, annoyed by his whole demeanor. His head moved from the paper in my direction, his eyes scanning the blood around my leg and floor, sighing and putting the mysterious paper back in the white, surprisingly clean hoodie.

He strode towards my figure, not even crouching beside me, his eyes focused on mine before they traveled down my body, to my leg. He raised his eyebrows slightly, his head moving to the side to get a better look at the sharp object in the leg.

„It's just your thigh. No vital organs, no bullets we would have to take out, no severing of the femoral artery. If she stabbed you in your torso then you would be dead." Chishiya said in a professional voice, his whole aura changed like if he said those words many times before. He bit the back of his bottom lip, looking me in the eyes before he slowly raised his hand in my direction, his palm open.

I hesitantly put my own hand in his, my other arm placed on the floor, giving me support. He pulled me up with ease. For a guy that is around 5'6, he is quite strong. Does he lift or something?

I groaned, the now numb pain still strong. I stumbled, losing my balance and falling right into Chishiya. He stiffed at the sudden contact, not used to touch people. I grabbed his shoulders, trying to steady myself before muttering a small sorry. His hands went to my waist, not wanting the girl to fall and cause him even more trouble.

That's where he felt it. A gun.

That really piqued his interest in her. All the guns in this city were taken by Agunis order, not leaving even one store with weapons not raided. That concluded the fact that she had it in her home, using it even before the games. But she stupidly didn't today, the knife in her leg not avoided. Foolish.

Chishiya decided to not tell her about his discovery, knowing that she would have to show it herself when they get to his base in the city. Even though he lived in Beach, sometimes he wanted his own space. Luckily the Hatter granted him permission, Chishiya using his cunning to manipulate him. It was easy to get what he wants, nothing in his head seemed impossible or outrageous.

He put his arm under her shoulder, carrying at least half of her weight, and begrudgingly started his way to his own safehouse.

                                                                   ....................

The walk wasn't the longest, only the weight of my body staggering Chishiya slightly, clearly annoyed at the fact that he has to bother with me. Tokyo was unsurprisingly dark, I was still not used to the quietness of my hometown. We walked beside the supposedly empty metro, remembering the moments I had here with Kuina, so long ago but still thoroughly remembered.

We would always sneak out here to vandalized the walls, the next day admiring the work while eating the most delicious dollar ramen in the world. She was always laughing despite the fact her mom was bedridden, barely hanging by the thread of life.
