Well, that is off the table finally, the poor homeless looking dude with the robes dead and the news of it already out to well, at least Chishiya. I didn't realize how much it pained me to keep the unfortunate event inside of me, in the moment Blondie confirmed his knowledge about the situation my whole body relaxed, the tension that shouldn't be there in the first place disappearing.

I let out a half-faked exhale and came closer to Chishiya, leaning my hand on the table and looking down on the walkie-talkie. He didn't step back, but even if there was still a considerable distance between the two of us, I could still feel the electricity that flew through the air. I really couldn't describe it differently, the bond we shared.

What I was really curious about was the fact he said plural noun, we, as in us. I really did expect him to just ignore me for a week again and then kiss me violently again, his hands gently grazing my waist with goosebumps following, just so he can leave me lonely again, creating a never-ending cycle. What did he even think of me anyway? Am I just a slut for him, his eyes praying for the moment I snap?

„You don't seem very shocked." Chishiya monotonously said as his gaze looked me up and down, before frowning, grabbing the small radio and putting it in his pocket of the white hoodie. I shrugged and hm-ed at his statement, not even trying to defend myself, rather just stating partially my feelings.

„He was a dick." I sighed out and stretched my arm to the side, Chishiya smirking without emotion, while I gazed around the room, trying to think of something to shake the awkwardness. „Also he dressed terribly." I looked the man in front of me up and down like he did a few seconds ago, raising my eyebrows cockily and pulling a sweet smile at him.

„Shall we go?"

He stayed motionless for few seconds, my confidence thinning quickly as he just looked at me emptily, my fingers tapping impatiently on the desk. I heard the birds chirping outside, the quick sunbeam that hit Chishiya's face but then disappeared almost immediately just furthermore reminding me that it is indeed already the day where we would face the consequences of other's foolishness.

„We shall." he replied before he turned around, striding leisurely to the door and opening it with ease. He stopped in his path though, standing in the doorframe while I almost cursed him out for not waiting for me. He hastily turned his blonde head in my direction, quirking an eyebrow at me momentarily, before I realized what the few-worded man wanted.

I smiled slightly and skipped to his side in an instant as my skirt flowed around my mid-thighs, brushing against him as I made my way outside of the room. The hallway was bustling with people even in the more earlier morning, the click of the previous room I was in only heard faintly by my ears.

I crossed my arms against my chest as the golden and red walls dug painfully into my eyes, the stares of the people that passed by, probably intrigued by the fact that Chishiya was standing next to me. I just hoped that we won't cross somebody who had a gun in their hand and hatred in their head. I clung to that thought pathetically, even if I knew we were heading to a room filled with solely only that type of humans.

And so with that, we started to automatically walk to the destination I didn't know myself, following Chishiya even if I was right next to his arm. We didn't say a word as we passed the other residents of Beach, most ignoring us and some whispering among themselves. I saw some familiar faces, but not greeting any of them as I didn't have a once of mood to be nice.

„Who do you think raided your room?" the question came from my mouth as I looked down on the floor, my shuffling feet making more noise than needed. The black sneakers were put on before we went out, matching my melancholic outfit nicely. I looked like off-brand Mira at this point.
