The sun has already completely set, leaving only the dark night behind it. The stars were bright, the moon's light reflecting on the dark shadows looming in the city. My steps were the only sound echoing through the empty streets, the lack of people unsurprising.

I wasn't really scared, people in this world don't really have time to be unnecessary criminals, or do things that would kill them other than the games. At least I hoped. I had a bit of trouble coming back to Chishiya's place, the city big and my memory, not the best. It was therapeutic though, just going through the peaceful-feeling city, without any crowds or intense lights. In some twisted way, I enjoyed this version of reality.

My hand reached for the keys, after an hour I finally came to the heavy door under the ground. The silver metal glimmered in the light before I put it in the hole. I expected to hear a click, a confirmation that I unlocked the door. But that wasn't the case, because the door was already opened.

I retrieved the key quickly and stepped back. I did lock the door when I went out, meaning that somebody came in. Chishiya and Niragi are in the Beach, and I don't know anyone else. I was about to turn around and go to my apartment, not needing to make myself more problems, but the footsteps inside the room interrupted me. I quickly threw the bag and book on the ground and took the gun from my waistband.

I shakily raised the weapon in the air, pointing at the door that was being opened. The blinding light from inside was harsh to my eyes, blinking aggressively, not yet seeing the visitor.

„I gave you a roof over your head and now you are robbing me?" a familiar amused voice reached my ears, the magnetizing aura already having an effect on my soul. I hastily put the gun down, my face letting a small smile appear before I realized that I shouldn't be happy to see him.

It was Chishiya, standing there in his stupid identical-to-mine jacket, smirking at me like a cat.

I gazed at him for a moment, stunned by the fact that he was here instead of Beach. Didn't they have a lockdown or something? I sighed, my eyes glared at him unintentionally, his arm leaning against the doorframe lazily, Blondie's eyes half-lidded, watching my every move.

I felt like an animal at the zoo when I grabbed my bag and the book from the cement floor, trying to not show him my butt when I leaned down. When I had everything in my hands I walked over to him slowly, avoiding eye contact. I couldn't really face him after the murder case appeared in my hands.

His arm blocked my path, the sleeve lifted up to his elbow, the blue veins visible in the light. I pushed it away annoyed, Chishiya acting like a middle school boy. Of course, he didn't budge, having the nerve to chuckle at my pathetic attempts. I looked him in the eyes and glared at him, not having a mood for these silly games.

His eyes were glossy, looking like a puppy.

Was Chishiya...Drunk?

I raised my eyebrows at him, surprised at his alcohol-induced state. His eyes looked me up and down with a feminine smile, the front strands of his hair falling in his face. He looked like the death itself, in a very beautiful metaphorical way. Chishiya's head bobbed a little bit, before his hand slowly fell from the doorframe, his fingers grazing the metal on the way down.

I gulped before I swiftly slid into the bunker, my body touching his on the way in but I paid no attention to it. There was a half-empty bottle of some expensive wine on the table, the glass next to it empty. I turned around expecting Blondie to be in the same spot, but that sneaky bastard was right behind me, his eyes looking at the alcohol and his hands clasped behind his back.

„Do you want a glass?" he whispered, his closeness was enough for me to hear his words. I pursed my lips, before I walked to the counter, gently placing the found book on the surface, the bag full of supplies on the floor. My elbow leaned on the granite material, my head leaning into my palm tiredly.
