Blue flames struck silver and gray armor and sending the warriors and guards against you flying back. Their armor crashing hard against the walls, and floor of the prison. Some screamed in pain while others were knocked out instantly by being struck in the chest, and were sent crashing into the walls surrounding. A blade was swung at you, nearly striking your head which caused you to duck to avoid it. Once safe, you quickly delivered one heavy kick to the soldier's gut, causing him to yell out only to receive a burst of blue flame to the front of his helmet and he was out.

You quickly turned and ran along the long corridors of the prison, groups of soldiers coming down to greet you but all fell as you used your magic and continued on. Soon you were just outside the prison and on your way to freedom.

(Meanwhile)

Mettaton flew overhead and spotted the tall, gray, and dull walls of the prison. It appeared more like an old castle, a set of four towers connected to four large walls, with one large building that was surrounded by it. Windows were ll bared, and the guard towers had many men rushing about in them and the battlements. Watching from afar, Mettaton quickly flew on down and landed on the roof of a nearby hotel, one which was several hundreds of meters away from the closet walls of the prison.

Watching as guards and troopers at the prison were running around both inside and out the prison, Mettaton began sneaking his way towards it. Using rooftops to hop, he started making his way around and approached the rear of the prison, where fewer guards were watching over the prison. Once atop a bank, he stared on as the battle for the walls had quickly turned and Monsters were in the city. The Battle for Humans was being lost.

Mettaton quickly took a moment to calm himself, then took flight with what little energy for his rockets and wings left and made it across to the wall. His feet made a heavy clank sound as soon as they impacted the wood of the battlements. Once on his feet, Mettaton started rushing down a set of stairs to reach the prison itself. Just as he reached the bottom, he heard a voice call out to him. A voice of someone he knew...

"METTATON!?!!?!?" He instantly turned on his heel and spotted you as you just finished off another group of guards. Time stood still as you stared at one another in silence, though sounds of human guards and soldiers running about could faintly be heard. Next, he was running, running towards you while you were running at him. Tears had at this point began flooding your eyes, Mettaton's own also having tears in them and you two ran for what felt like forever. Next thing, once you two were close you leaped right into him, hugging him as your own life depended on it. Mettaton instantly returned the hug, and you two proceeded to fall back as the force against Mettaton caused him to fall backward. You two stayed embracing each other, ignoring everything around them as everything continued on around you two.

The elders and other leaders of the Kingdom watch on from the palace walls, staring out as the battle raged on in the distance at the walls. A long of despair and anger was on their faces, the battle had turned and seemed it would never change. One elder jumped, then looked around in confusion. "Where is the king!?" They all remained silent, and looked around, but didn't see him anywhere. "..."

"He left...?"

Without any hearing, the former King snuck out through a secret hatch in his bedroom and was now on his way to leave the castle. 'Time to end this war, and bring true peace to the world.' He said as he made his way quickly down the short tunnel below the palace, and made his way out.

Asgore and Toriel advance, and by now most human troops and guards had either surrendered or retreated. Now, much of the City was exposed, as the Monsters made their way down the long roads of the internal city...
Undyne was leading an assault personally against the human army barracks just north of the palace, and seemed to be having some trouble but was winning. As the Monsters passed through, human families either ram away or took shelter wherever they could reach or find safety. Either in the basements of their homes or inside the sewers systems just below. Asgore and Toriel paid them no mind, in fact, they were thankful these humans choose to take shelter instead of fight.

Once in the "Noble" district, where the most richest and popular members of the Kingdom stayed, Asgore noticed the Palace. The Palace which was within the heart of the whole city, and now lightly defended. Asgore and Toriel stared on for a few moments then turned to one another and gave a firm nod before rushing ahead. The two were leading one final assault to end this battle and the War for good.

The End of the Battle was near (Continue 4)
