LEERA POV
After getting up from bed and freshening up I got ready. We went where everyone gathered for having breakfast.
"Leera, Aria" Levi called us out as he saw us and we went near him
"Hey what's up? Why are you two late?" He asked starring at us
"You know, Leera wasn't feeling well from last night.. so she woke up late" Aria said taking the seat beside Levi
"Leera, are you okay now?? Is your head still aching?" He asked me in a worried tone
"Yeah I'm okay... let's have breakfast" saying this I took my seat beside Aria
We finished having our breakfast and was having a talk with everyone
"Listen students" one of our professors spoke up
"So, this is the annual trip of your university life... then after giving exams when the winter vacation ends... you all will be graduated and you need to apply for internships." He said
We all nodded at his direction. Then he continued again
"As this trip is very special, the trustee of our university will give a speech and give you guys some suggestions for the future. The trustee of our university is currently present in Malta for some of his work. A small event will be held for welcoming him and for his speech at the same place where our function was held."
"You'll need to present yourself well. He is a very well known and respectful person and ofcourse a very important member for who our college has been best in New York. Moreover this resort, which we are currently staying is also owned by him. So I hope all of you represent yourself very well and if he asks any question, answer his every question properly, don't make mistakes" - Our professor informed us what our principal told him
We all nodded and uttered "yes" at the same moment
"The event will start at 5.00 PM. So all of the students need to attend within 4.50 PM. I don't want any kind of mistakes and make sure you don't come up with any kind of errors while answering him. I want you'll to be present at the proper time" professor said with a strict face
"And Leera! You will welcome him by giving flowers as you are the best student. Make sure to greet him properly and have a small conversation with him in a cordial way. So he can have a good idea about our students." The professor said to me
"Okay sir" I told him. Most of the time I have to greet and welcome guests for our class as I'm the best student in the eyes of every professor and they knew very well I could handle things very nicely and decently. So it was always me to have that chance to welcome important members in any event and I did it happily. But this time I was mentally not stable as well as I was having a strange feeling too
Still I agreed and told to myself I'll do it properly and perfectly. I just need to hand that person some flowers and talk to him formally for sometime
After that we were given permission to roam anywhere but near the resort. I, Levi and Aria went to the beach near the resort. We talked and talked... played in water... teased eachother. All these made me feel a little better but who knows anything can also happen in the next moment and change everything
Aria needed to use the washroom.. so she left for the resort as the beach was just beside the resort. Me and Levi were alone now
"Leera, I hope things are okay now. And if you still have anything in your heart which is bothering you, you can openly share with me" Levi said starring at me as we both were sitting on the sand watching the beach waves
"Levi.... hmmm... after I came to Malta nothing happened like that... but I'm feeling quite strange. Moreover about last night, Aria told me maybe someone had spiked my drink or I wasn't actually feeling well by my own. But the thing is I was totally fine before dinner... after having dinner I was feeling utterly unwell, dizzy and that extreme headache. And why and who would spike my drink here? Don't you think that's quite strange?" I asked starring at him
"I think it was actually because you are very tensed and worried these days and moreover you were exhausted after everything.. so maybe you were just feeling unwell because of it. Leera, you think about small things too much! Why would anyone actually spike your drink or something.. like what would they get from that? I guess nothing much happened after you left the party when you weren't feeling well. I saw you standing alone and Aria came back after she got the key card.. and we carried you to room. You were almost kinda unconscious. That's it" he uttered in one go
"The thing is why can't I remember the events properly after me and Aria came out of the function... I remember she left me alone for the key card... I waited there for some time.. then I couldn't hold myself.. I leaned on the window I guess.. my headache was getting worse time to time and the dizziness filled me and I couldn't see things properly. Then I felt something, someone holding my waist.. it felt like... like Aze...Azezal . That was maybe my imagination, it can't be true anyway" I told him looking down at my hands
"Leera, I understand... let's just keep that aside and be happy, enjoy things around. It's beautiful here and moreover we all are with you.. don't be worried. You look more stupid with that face of anxiety. And plz don't be a cry baby ofcourse lol" he said in a teasing manner
"Yeah whatever... an asshole like you will never understand" I said with the same tone as his
"Do you want to eat icecream? They are selling icecream there" he asked me trying to cheer me up again as he knows how much I love icecream
"Yeahh... let's goo" I said standing up
"No you wait here... you will eventually steal all of the icecreams from there. I know raccoons like you very well" he muttered with a small laugh
"Then go.. get me icecreams.. anyway why should I go and waste my energy.. when you are there for doing my works" I uttered sitting down again
"Okay ma'am you wait here, I'll bring icecreams" he said and left to bring the icecreams
I was sitting alone there but I felt like I was being watched by someone. I looked around and found no one starring at me but I am feeling that weird and strange sensation that someone is watching me from a distance
I let that aside.. I saw both Aria and Levi coming back and I relaxed.

"Aria fast, we need to go early for the event" I said as she was taking more time for getting ready
"Leera, prepare yourself well because you need to welcome that person" she said as she was putting on her shoes
"Yeah, I know... I hope it goes well" I murmured in a low voice
We came out of the room and went to the place where the event was supposed to be held. It was 4.50 PM... all the students took their seat... and I had to be standing at the stage that was made for the speech. The professors took their seats on the chairs, on the stage.
We all were waiting for the very person to come and then the event will finally start
Then after some moments, maybe at 5.10 PM the very person for who we all were eagerly waiting finally came and everybody stood up to pay him respect
I was about to pass out the moment I saw him! I stunned with flowers in my hand. I couldn't think straight, I was unable to breath. I knew I was in my sense but the place incident looked so surreal to me.
"Azezal" I muttered in a very low voice, catching my breath again. What the hell! What is he doing here!
Perhaps I was about to faint out when I saw him taking steps towards the stage... towards me!
