I combed my ironed straight hair and tied it on a high ponytail. I also done my light make up for tonight's event.

Today's NZAJ Anniversary.

It's my first time to attend to the company's anniversary. I checked my dress in a full length mirror. I wore royal blue lace trimmed gown and blue stiletto. I sprayed perfume on my neck and wrists and I'm done!

Dali dali kung kinuha ang purse ko at inabot ang umiingay kong telepono sa bedside table. I answered the call while shutting the bedroom door behind.

"Nasa parking na ako B." bungad ni Aries pagkasagot ko ng tawag.

They were invited too but his father, the current CEO of their company, couldn't make it. Kaya si Aries ang pupunta, I was so glad when he mentioned me about that.

"Hintayin mo nalang ako dyan Ar, pababa na rin" sagot ko sakanya.

"I should suppose to fetch my date on her front door..." he teased, without seeing his face I know he's grinning right now.

I rolled my eyes. "This isn't a high school prom or what Aries." natatawa ko ring turan.

"It's still a date though" he chuckled. I waited elevator to open. Nagulat pa ako ng mabungaran ko si Third sa loob. He waved and smiled at me. I smiled at him too. Lagi kaming nagkakasalubong sa elevetor kaya we're kind of friends already, I guess.

"Hindi ko alam na may ganitong side ka pala huh" I teased him back. Pinaglalaruan ko ang strap ng purse ko. Palingon lingon rin si Third sa akin.

"Hindi mo alam? I've been your bodyguard, PA and driver this past years" he tried to sound wounded.

Aries portrayed a serious and stern facade, at least to those who barely knows him, despite of his soft features. Pero bilang kaibigan niya sa halos walong taon ay nasaksihan ko kung gaano siya kalambot at mapagmahal. He love selflessly, genuinely. I've witness how he dedicate his self fully until it burnt him, little by little, painfully.

Noong araw na yun, nasaksihan ko ang kakaibang Aries, yung mahina at mababa ang tingin sa sarili. Dahil sa sobrang pagmamahal.

The elevator door opened at the basement. Suminyas ako kay Third na mauuna. I went to Aries car. His leaning against the shotgun door, waiting for me. He lifted his chin to met my gaze.

"I was like that before, you know that. But look where did it leads me, us?" seryosong tanong niya. Napatigil ako sa paghakbang, ramdam ko ang lungkot sa tanong niya. Alam kung sa ganitong minuto, nasa perehong araw ang bumalik sa isip namin.

That day!

Noong araw na naabutan ko si Aries sa gilid ng kalsada. Nakayuko at tinatanggap ang malakas na bagsak ng ulan at malamig na ihip ng hangin. Hindi nito alintana ang panaka nakang dumadaang sasakyan. He was like a little lost cat. Gusto kung maiyak sa itsura niya.

Lumapit ako sa kanya at halos humagulhol ako nang tumambad sa akin ang nakalarawang sakit at lungkot sa mga mata niya. When he felt my presence, he cried hard and slowly knelt on his knees, not minding the stone that bruised his knees. He was vulnerable and lost. He kept on asking his lackings, questioning his worth and begging for validation.

I've seen how he fought his love but ended up losing it.

He smiled bitterly at me when I stood in front of him, he's wearing a dark blue three piece suit, matching my outfit. I punched his stomach a little.
