The next morning I reached Bai's Mansion.

It was a huge building, with lots of floors.

It seemed they had a nice life over the years.

I wish my mother had had that too.

But I will avenge her. Lorene Bai, just wait for me until I expose you, 'Best actress of the last generation' hahaha, let's see how much you will last.

I rang the bell, and the same maid from before opened the door.

She greeted me with delight in her eyes.

I followed her to the living room, where everyone was sitting.

My gaze was firm and threatening to Lorene.

But her twins seemed genuinely happy for me being there, I couldn't help smiling at them.

I knew I couldn't hurt these two deliberately.

''Hi, my daughter. Lumine, Aether, come meet your older sister.''

Emmet said.

''Hey, I am Beth.'',

''Hey! I am Lumine! And this is my twin brother, Aether.''

she said while hugging me.

Aether then came and hugged me too.

For a second, I felt different, I felt having a family was a miracle to me.

There was a tiny hope in my stomach, that I might have one too.

Miss Lorene stood up, she took a glance at me, looking at me with disgust.

''Hi, Miss Kappa.'',

''Her name is Beth Bai. Either you like it or not Lorene.''
