Requested by bohemian1220: Tom is in a relationship with someone, but breaks up with her when he finds out that she's been sleeping with someone else. He goes back to his parents', but won't tell them or his brothers why he left his ex. One night whilst at the pub, he runs into his ex-girlfriend, Y/N, who is a bartender there. They start to hang out again and Tom starts falling for her again. But then just before they get back into a relationship, Tom's ex shows up and tells him that she's pregnant with his baby.

Tom's P.O.V

Tom sat on the sofa in his living room, tears streaming down his face and his eyes just staring ahead as he gripped his hands tightly together. He heard Mia sigh quietly next to him, though it sounded a thousand miles away as he desperately tried, but failed, to process what his girlfriend had just told him. Or rather...what his ex-girlfriend had just told him.

"I really am sorry, Tom. I never meant to hurt you, it was something that just happened-."

"No, Mia, buying the wrong product is something that just happens, o-or a car crashing into yours, you repeatedly sleeping with another guy isn't something that just happens." He spat and shook his head as he looked at her. She just sighed again, the girl seemingly not even slightly remorseful at the fact that he had just caught her cheating. And from what she'd told him, it was far from the first time that this had happened too. Tom scoffed and shook his head as he looked forward again, his head now pounding with how much he'd been crying as he couldn't bear to look at his girlfriend of a year. Not after she'd just admitted to having been cheating on him for half of that time. He was heartbroken. And he needed to get the fuck out of her presence.

"I can't do this, Mia, I'm sorry. I can't even stay in the same house as someone who's done that to me, let alone stay in a relationship with them." He choked and shook his head, making her eyes widen as he shot up from the sofa and started to rush through to their bedroom.

"You're not leaving, are you?! Tom, we can work this out, please!" the girl exclaimed as she followed him through.

"Work what out, Mia?! Because no matter how much you apologise, how much you beg on your hands and knees, it won't change the fact that you've been fucking this guy for half of our relationship! It won't change the fact that the last time that you fucked him was literally half an hour ago. So, no. We can't work this out." He scoffed. She returned it and bit her lip, making Tom sigh and look down at the suitcase that he had started shoving stuff into. He shook his head and continued to pack, every inch of him knowing that he had to get out of here, he had to leave.

"Delete my number from your phone. Delete my parents' numbers, my brothers', Harrison's, everyone, I don't want you contacting any of them from here on out. I want you out of all of our lives. We're done." He nodded before zipping up the suitcase and carrying it out of the bedroom.

~One week later~

Tom walked into the pub, a sigh leaving his lips as he looked around the familiar space that was only a five-minute walk from his parents' house. He'd been staying there for a week now, but had yet to tell them or his brothers why he was there, and not with Mia. They had been constantly asking what had happened between the pair of them since he'd arrived, and so he had decided that he needed space. Hence how he'd ended up here. He looked down at his phone, the boy distracted as he started to wander to the bar. After a moment, he put his phone away again and looked up as he approached the partition. And that...was when he saw her. Tom's eyes wavered, his heart jumping slightly in his chest at the sight of his ex-girlfriend before Mia, Y/N, washing glasses from behind the bar. Tom gulped harshly, the girl even more beautiful than the day that they had broken up, two years ago. The truth behind Tom and Y/N's old relationship was a lot more civil and amicable than that of Tom and Mia's. Tom had been utterly in love with Y/N, and he had been sure that she had felt the same about him. But ultimately the constant travelling and being away from her had put too much strain on the otherwise perfect relationship, and so the pair had mutually decided that it was best to go their separate ways. Behind closed doors, the break-up had torn Tom apart, especially as he had been convinced that Y/N was the one for him, the love of his life. And seeing her again now, for the first time in two years, he didn't think that that had changed. He took a deep breath, his heart thumping in anxiety as he walked up to the bar.
