Hey guys! I thought it would be a cute idea to do a follow up from Happy Anniversary. Since he gave her those plane tickets why not do one where he meets her parents for the first time. Enjoy ❤️

As Mac was loading the luggage into the rental car you sat in the passenger seat nervously biting your nails. You weren't even sure why you were nervous, your parents were gonna love Mac. He was one of those people who everyone loved, and you were sure he was every parents dream guy for their daughter including yours.

When Mac got in the car he couldn't help but notice how nervous you were. He reached over and grabbed your hand as he kissed it "Will you stop worrying. Everything is going to be fine. I promise."

You smiled over at him "Your right, I'm worrying for nothing. I'm sure they will love you. Not as much as I do but still."

Mac leaned over and kissed your cheek, before putting the car in drive and heading to your parents place. When you guys got there, the two of you held hands as you made your way  up the walk leading the front porch.

"So this is where y/n grew up huh?" Mac smiled while gently squeezing your hand.

"Yep, this is where the magic happened." You were about to ring the doorbell but the door quickly swung open as both your parents stood there. They were smiling so big you would think that their mouths would fall off.

"My baby is home!" You mom squealed in excitement as she threw her arms around you.

She was squeezing you so tight it felt like your arms would break "Mom, loosen the grip please, I beg of you."

"Oh sorry baby, come on in. The both of you." She winked very awkwardly as she closed the front door. "So introduce us sweetie."

"Mom, dad this is my boyfriend Angus Macgyver but we all call him Mac. Mac these are my parents Eileen and Jeff." You stood there and watched as they all shook hands and exchanged pleasantries.

"It's nice to finally get to meet you both. Y/n has told me so much about you both." Mac spoke.

"Well she has told us much about you as well. Our little snowflake sure does go on and on about you." You winced immediately at that old nickname when your dad finished talking.

However, Mac was the opposite and immediately entertained. A gleeful look in his eye as he turned to you "Snowflake? How have I not heard about this?"

"Dad really, I'm not home but five mintues and you have to bring up snowflake? Why?" You frowned as you hung your head low.

"Now baby it's a cute story, I'm sure Mac would love to hear it." Your mom smiled, as she lifted your head up.

"No he doesn't, right Mac." You said in a stern tone as you shout him a look.

"Actually I would love nothing more." Mac winked at you before walking over to the living room with your parents, as you slowly dragged your feet from behind.

"Well when y/n was three, everytime it would snow she would go outside for hours. She'd stick her little tongue out and catch as many snowflakes as she could. She did this up until the age of eight." Your mother smiled at the memory.

Mac smiled to himself before looking over at you "Isn't that just the cutest thing, wouldn't you agree snowflake?" Slightly teasing you now.

You glared at him as you pointed a finger "They are allowed to call me that, you however are not."

"I'd listen to her son, trust me. If your lady ain't happy your not happy." Your dad sighed as he kissed the top of his wife's head.

Mac quickly gave you an apologetic look as he tentatively took your hand in his, as he pulled you down to sit next to him on the couch.

"I'm so excited to have my baby home, for three whole days! Are you sure you can't stay any longer? I haven't seen you in years honey." Your mom frowned.

"I know mom, but our boss will need us back at work. The uh, think tank can be very demanding work." You frowned, giving Mac a quick glance since he knew how much you hated lying to your parents. "I promise to make an effort to visit more."

Later that evening, after dinner you were helping your mom clean up the dishes. Of course your parents being old fashioned, they didn't have a dishwasher. So your mother washed while you dried. As you were drying a plate with your mother's dish towel your eyes wandered to the dining room table. Mac and your father were playing cards, doing some male bonding. You weren't sure why but the sight made you smile. When Mac caught you staring he gave you a wink before turning his attention back to your father.

As you cheeks turned red, your mother quickly noticed. "That's quite the man you got yourself darling. He's very handsome, and charming."

"He is mom, but I want you and daddy to know how good he is to me. He loves me more than I could have ever imagined being loved."

"That's all we've ever wanted for you sweetheart. I see the way you two look at eachother and you have no idea how happy that makes me. The two of you remind me so much of your father and I. We still, to this day, look at eachother that way and I hope you and Angus get to experience the long haul together." She said, tucking some loose hair behind your ear.

You smiled as you hugged your mom "Thanks mom, I love you."

"I love you too dear." As she hugged you the sound of your father clearing his throat got your attention.

"It's getting late Eileen, let's turn in." He looked over at Mac and sternly looked him up and down "Listen here son. Now, I wanted to put you on the couch but the missis said no, that it's too lumpy. So we are letting you two share y/ns old room, but I want you to know I have impeccable hearing. I hear everything you got that, so there will be no hanky panky."

"Dad seriously?" You groaned as you gave your mom pleading eyes.

"Yes sir, I understand. I will be on my best behavior." Mac said, in a slightly fearful tone.

As you and Mac laid in your old bed together, the two of you were practically on top of eachother since it was a twin.

"Sorry for the tight fit." You giggled.

"I don't mind." Mac smirked as he held you in his arms "Now, don't get any ideas like trying to take advantage of me. You heard your father. No hanky panky." He teased.

You annoyingly rolled your eyes "I'll to refrain my wild urges I promise." You looked up into his eyes and smiled "Thank you for this, the plane tickets, and meeting my parents. I love you."

Mac smiled as he kissed you on the lips "I love you."

Three days later you had said your goodbyes to your parents, as you and Mac headed back to California. While you were both on the plane you couldn't help but fall in love a little bit more with this man. This had been an amazing weekend, showing him where you grew up and sharing a whole other part of you made you feel even more connected to him. You couldn't help but hope to get to have with him someday, what your parents had with eachother so many years down the road. You had no doubt though, because there was no way you were ever letting this man go.
