You sat down on the roof of your apartment, stargazing, the full moon shining down on the peaceful earth, finding yourself lost in a trance as you watched the sky.
"This city never fails to amaze me..." You mutter in a whimsical tone to yourself, admiring the sky.
"You are such a gem.." A familiar voice from your right said, you turned around to see Macaque sitting crisscross, resting his head on his hand, looking at you lovingly.
"Macaque, what're you doing here..?" You asked, scooting closer to him.
Underneath him formed a shadow portal, as he fell through it, then above your left, another portal opened, Macaque falling through it close next to you.
"I came here to see you. You looked lonely, so I thought I would join you out here," Macaque said in that gentle voice that you absolutely adored as he snuggled up to you.
You smiled gently at him.
You two sat and cuddled together as you stargazed.
A quiet purr arose from Macaque's chest. Soon, Macaque fell asleep in your arms, you slowly but surely fell asleep as well.
