Chapter 21|New job

Arohi:(Pulling Riya in her arms)"Heyyy...no rii.. You are the most wonderful person I met. Ri you make me and everyone around you happy even when they don't feel like it. And you know something, a person who gives happiness is no less then God for someone. In this world giving hate is a common thing. But being kind and bringing happiness to people makes you a soulful person and Riya you are the most beautiful and soulful person I met. I feel grateful having a friend like you."

Arohi comforted her friend while her mind also wondered on Riya's words. Did she by chance like Aman? They fight like cats and dogs, but isn't that how most of the love stories start in movies and shows nowadays. Or was she just being too flimy and over thinking things? She let go of the thought for that moment and she tried to cheer up Riya.

Arohi:"Do you want to skip the next lecture and head somewhere else?"

Riya:"I dont feel like going home. I can't see mom like that again."

Arohi's phone buzzed and checked to see a message from The boys asking if everything was okay and when will they return.

Arohi:"Alright..then let's head inside. The guys are waiting."

Riya nodded as the girls payed for their drinks before leaving. During the 5 mins walk back, Arohi tried talking random things to get Riya's mind diverted from the topic. As they were about to enter the cafeteria, Riya's phone rang. She tensed seeing the caller ID of her Dad. Arohi gave her a assuring smile as Riya excused herself and went out again while Arohi headed inside.

Aman:(As soon as Arohi sat down in her chair)"What happen? Why is Riya like this? Is everything okay? Say something Arohi.."

Everyone looked at him shocked while he bombed her with questions regarding Riya. Arohi had guessed that the boys must have thought she talked to Riya alone about her situation.

Aman:"Common what happened..."( He asked impatiently)"And don't say girls problem because I sure as know it isn't that"

Aditya:"Let her speak dude. If you keep asking her questions back to back how is she to answer them"

Aman:"I...ah.."

Arohi:"She is fine Aman. Her family is having some issues which is why she is tensed and.."

Riya:"Aruuuu"(Arohi turned only to be stumbled by a tight hug from riya)"Aruu aruu aruu"

Arohi:"What happened?"( She asked confused seeing riya like this)

Riya:"Nanu is must better now and out of danger. Mumma is also better then before hearing this news. Infact when I talked to her she seemed normal. Aru everything us getting better like you said"

Arohi:(Smiled)"I said it would. Now don't take much tension okay"

Riya:"Aru..mom and Dad are going home tomorrow. I can stay with you for few days right? "

Arohi:"Yeh bhi koyi pochne ki baat hai Pagal. Ofcourse you can stay. What about your brother?" Translation: " is this even a question to ask you idoit?. "

Riya:"He will stay with his friends. They go to same school so it won't be a problem for them."

Arohi:"Okay"
