you were so excited to watch jude play. you didn't get to watch him play too often, so to be in spain, watching him in the champions league in spain, was going to be absolutely incredible.

it was made better with the fact that in the last bundesliga game, for dortmund, he had been made captain, because marco and matts were both out injured. you couldn't have been more proud of his achievement of becoming the youngest captain in bundesliga history, knowing that it would make jude extremely happy that he is being noticed, as not only an amazing player, but also an incredible person, who has the ability to lead a team out in pressurising circumstances.

you were currently sitting in the stadium watching the game unfold before you. it was coming up to the forty minute mark, and dortmund were already one nil up, thanks to a goal from guerreiro in the sixth minute.

an attack breaks out for dortmund, and when the ball gets passed to jude, your heart is immediately in your mouth, beating rapidly. jude does really well to get past multiple players in the box, kicks the ball with power, and it ends up in the back of the net.

when you see the net bulge, you immediately jump up cheering for him. you were so happy to see him score, knowing that it meant the world to him whenever he did. the game finished in a similarly positive way, ending in a four one win to dortmund.

after the match you met up with jude, wrapping him in an embrace as soon as you saw him. "i'm so proud of you," you whispered in his ear.

jude didn't say anything in reply, but just pressed his lips to yours. the two of you had kissed before, but it was still the very early stages of your relationship, and you hadn't made anything official yet.

"be my girlfriend?" jude asks you once you pull away, looking into your eyes with slight uncertainty.

you can't do anything other than nod your head with a huge smile on your face. jude reciprocates your smile, his hands not leaving you for the rest of the day, as you take pictures with him and his man of the match award, marking a day that you will remember forever.
