We slowly stop when we see a lonely tent in front of us, it was really quite so I made sure not to step in any broken sticks and make a snapping noise.

"She could be in there." Shane states quietly , I stop next to Carl and hear his breathing pick up.

"Could be a whole bunch of things in there." Daryl states not as quietly as Shane's voice.

I watch as daryl, rick and Shane walk closer to the tent , while the rest of us stay out where we are.

Daryl holds his finger up before dropping his crossbow on the grass and taking out his knife. He slowly walks up to the tent and peeks inside before shaking his head at rick

Rick nods as if understanding the silent message and gestures for Carol to come forward, the rest do not so long after in a slower pace

Rick tells Carol something that I couldn't here from being at the back of the group

"Sophia, sweetie, are you in there? Sophia, it's mommy. Sophia. We're all here ,baby. It's mommy." Carol softly call out, making me cringe a little back ward till my foot hits something big and hard.

I look down to see it was weird shiny thing covered in dirt and... something that looks close to dark red liquid.

I look up to see daryl entering the tent and my chest starts to feel jumpy. I look back down at the shiny thing with more curiosity and worry than I should be feeling.

My head should be in finding Sophia and reuniting her with her mother. My worry for my friend is being pushed back though as I continue to stare down at the shiny thing with a jumpy chest.

What is this feeling?

My head tells me to pick it up and inspect it more.

"Daryl." Carol calls making me look back up as she shrinks back into Lori. I realize that daryl has been in that tent for too long and it's too quite

I step over the shiny thing and dig it into the dirt with my foot as hard as I can to rid the feeling and put my focus on something more important.

Sophia.

"It ain't her." Daryl says as he steps out of the tent with heavy breaths. Everyone seems to release I sound of relief but I can't help but feel disappointment at knowing Sophia is still out there by herself.

"What's in there?" Andrea says slowly walking towards where I am. She seems to be out of breath as well

"Some guy. Did what Jenner said. Opted out. Ain't that what he called it?" Daryl said and after he did there was a sound of bells sounding from a far

I looked up at the sky in alarm. Because where the fuck is that coming from?

Rick points towards somewhere and we all follow behind him, running.

When rick comes to a stop we all do but it takes me a moment to stop and when I do I stop a little forward than the rest. My energy coming back after so many months of moping

"What direction?" I heard Shane say from behind me.

I whip my head from side to side. Sophia could be signaling those weird bell sounds. She could be in danger.

"I think that way. I'm pretty sure." I hear rick say from behind me, the leaves crunch and I know there walking more to where I am but I don't pay much attention to them

My ears zero in on the bells.

"Damn it's hard to tell out here." Shane's voice says

"If we heard them, maybe Sophia did too." Carol says as one hear listens closely to the bells while the other hears what there saying
