──── 𝙋𝙐𝙇𝙇𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝘼𝙒𝘼𝙔 𝙁𝙍𝙊𝙈 the small kiss the two shared gojo smiled a little bit at the fact that she kissed him back. meanwhile, naoko was confused. her feelings were all messed up inside and she didn't know what to think.
gojo still kept his face on her cheeks with their faces close to each other to where they were almost touching noses. "your family doesn't care about you. they don't love you, naoko. so why bother trying to please people who don't care about you?"
naoko was speechless. no one had ever told her this before. no one cared enough to tell her. "they will never be there for you. they will never love you. but i do." gojo confessed. he never planned for him to confess his feelings like this, but he couldn't have said it any other way.
naoko's eyes widened once again at his sudden confession. she was left speechless once again trying to process what he had just told her. "i like you naoko. and i can't bear to see you like this anymore, with your heart being constantly broken by your family. they won't be there for you but i will. i promise. i'll never leave your side." he pulled naoko into his chest.
she stopped crying but she felt comfortable. loved, in fact. she liked this feeling. the warm feeling that filled her heart. the constant but fast paced beating that hit against her chest. she loved it all.
the boy broke their hug but still keeping her within his touch. he stared into her jade eyes, and she looked back into his shade covered eyes as well. "so please don't talk about yourself like you're not enough because you're more than enough for me, naoko."
"i-uh- thank you gojo-" naoko said before getting interrupted by the boy. "satoru. call me satoru." the girl nodded at his request.
"um about your-" naoko was about to ask about his sudden confession but he cut her off once again.
"it's ok, i don't need an answer right now. just tell me when you finally realize your feelings for me. i'll be waiting, no matter how long it takes." he kissed her forehead before standing up to leave her room. she followed closing the door behind him.
naoko slid down her door. she couldn't believe what just happened. the fact that he even came to her room to see her a crying mess was already a weird feeling for her. now her feelings were all a jumbled mess. she needed to sort these out. she didn't want to leave him waiting for too long.
