──── 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙍𝘼𝙄𝙉𝙔 𝘼𝙋𝙍𝙄𝙇 season was approaching them as march was coming to an end. the heavy rain could be heard through the dorm rooms, but naoko was not to be seen in her room. but rather at her favorite spot in campus. the garden.

the girl sat under the gazebo which was keeping her dry. she sat on the bench reading the book she picked up for the week. everything was all peaceful. the sound of the raindrops hitting the grass were perfect to naoko.

not many people liked the rain, but naoko, she loved it. the rain comforted her in many ways and like today she always enjoyed the rain by sitting outside.

she read the pages of her book with full focus and the sound of raindrops falling filling her ears. but it was soon interrupted by the figure approaching her as they walked with an umbrella in their hand.

"naoko! what are you doing here when it's raining cats and dogs!" the white-haired boy closed his umbrella entering the gazebo.

he took the spot in front of naoko on the bench where she held her book in hand. "it's fine, i always do this. no need to worry satoru." naoko reassured the boy, but he couldn't help but think she'd catch a cold in this weather.

he pulled the sleeves of his uniform jacket off "here. take my coat."

on the other hand, naoko waved her hands wanting the boy to just keep the coat for himself. "no. no it's ok. there's no need for you to do that. you might catch a cold then."

"just take it." gojo placed his uniform jacket over the girl's shoulders to keep her warm. "why do you even come out here in the rain?" the boy asked taking his seat once again looking at the girl who had her eyes on the scene around them.

"i love the rain. it comforts me and i just like to relax here where i can hear and feel the rain." naoko gently stated looking out the 'windows' of the gazebo where she could see the greenery being accompanied by the drops of water falling.

"how come i never knew that?" the white-haired teen asked watching the rain with his girlfriend.

"you never asked. plus, it's not like it rains a lot in the winter here." she explained before they remained in silence admiring the sounds of droplets falling from sky onto the rooftop of the gazebo.

naoko sighed breaking the silence between them. "you know, there's no need to worry so much about me, satoru."

"i can't help it, love." gojo said bluntly without a thought. but naoko. well, she was caught by surprise at the sudden pet name. "love?"

"yea. what? you don't like it?" the boy questioned secretly hoping that she'd be ok with the names.

"no. no i don't hate it. i just- you've never given me any names like that." naoko explained with a flustered look on her face.

"well i can call you whatever you like! baby? babe? honey? wifey-" the boy was swiftly interrupted when naoko quickly placed a small peck on his lips. making him forget what he was even saying in the first place.

naoko backed away but still keeping their distance fairly close with a smile plastered on her face. "what?" she watched as the boy gave her a flustered look back.

"do that again." gojo demanded which caught naoko off by surprise. "huh?"

"babeee! c'mon just kiss me again! that wasn't fair, you caught me by surprise!" the boy whined sliding naoko closer to him by her waist.

"fine you big baby!" naoko wrapped her arms around the boy's neck before leaning in slowly connecting their lips.

it was a short but sweet kiss. one they haven't experienced often since they started dating almost a month ago.

naoko pulled away still looking her boyfriend in the eye as he smiled at her. she always made him smile and she liked that look on his face.

"since when were you the one making the first move? two weeks ago you couldn't even hold my hand." gojo questioned the sudden behavior of his girlfriend who was extremely awkward with physical affection at first.

he liked that she was more open to physical affection with him. he liked that she could feel comfortable around him. he liked that she could feel like this when it's just the two of them.

"well i guess there's always a first time for everything, love." naoko added as gojo couldn't help but smile at her rather bold remark.

they remained under the gazebo which was accompanied by the rain. despite the gloomy weather, the couple was rather happy.
