"Turn to page 394."

"Excuse me, sir. Where's Professor Lupin?" Harry asks as Snape walks in using his wand to close the blinds creating the dark and shadowy room.

"That's not really your concern, is it, Potter? Suffice it to say your professor finds himself incapable of teaching... at the present time. Turn to page 394."

Alex sighs as she flicks open her book, Ron reads over her shoulder making her elbow him away, "Werewolves'?"

"Sir, we just learned about red caps and hinkypunks." Alex says.

Hermione nods in agreement as she appears beside them, "We're not meant to start that for weeks."

"Quiet."

"When did she come in? Did you see her come in?"

"Now, which one of you can tell me the difference... between an Animagus and a werewolf?" Hermione's hand goes straight up, "No one? How disappointing. McGonagall."

Alex looks up from the very descriptive drawing of Snape she was doing to raise a brow, "Yes, sir?"

"The difference between a werewolf and an Animagus, if you will."

She nods and continues her drawing as she talks, "Yes, I will. An Animagus is a wizard who elects to turn into an animal. A werewolf has no choice. With each full moon, when they transforms, they no longer remembers who they are. They'd kill his best friend if they crossed paths. Well, I mean sometimes when Ron chews too loudly I think of killing him too, can't blame the person really." She adds a shrug and smirks at Ron.

"Hey!"

"The werewolf only responds to the call of its own." Hermione adds.

Draco lets out a low howl and his friends laugh, "Thank you, Mr. Malfoy. That's the second time... you've spoken out of turn, Miss Granger. Are you incapable of restraining yourself... or do you take pride in being an insufferable know-it-all?"

"He's got a point, you know. Ow! 'Lex!"

"Five points from Gryffindor. As an antidote to your ignorance, and on my desk, by Monday morning... two rolls of parchment on the werewolf, with emphasis... on recognizing it."

"Sir, it's Quidditch tomorrow."

"Then I suggest you take extra care, Mr. Potter. Loss of limb will not excuse you. Page 394. The term "werewolf"... is a contraction of the Anglo-Saxon word "wer"... which means "man," and "wolf." Werewolf, man-wolf. There are several ways to become a werewolf. They include being given the power of shape-shifting... being bitten by a werewolf..."

Alex passes the note over to Ron, it's a moving drawing of Snape wearing a dress while a shampoo bottle chases after him. Ron snorts loudly gaining the attention of the class, "Something funny, Mr. Weasley?"

"N-No, sir. Uh, there was something stuck in my throat."

Alex clears her throat and bites down on her lip to stop herself from laughing at his bright red face.

"Go, Harry! Go, Harry!"

Alex tries to ignore her friend that is chasing the Snitch as she focuses on getting the Quaffel in the Hufflepuff's hands.

"Alex steals the Quaffel!"

She shivers as some rain manages to get down her top, the small and thin Quidditch robes barley do anything to protect her from the pelts of rain.

Looking to the side she sees Harry falling, her eyes widen as he almost hits the floor only to be slowed down by Dumbledore.

Cedric Diggory, the Hufflepuff Seeker lands with the Snitch in his palm and his team runs over to him not paying any attention to the Gryffindor Seeker on the floor.

Landing beside Harry, Alex shakes him, "Harry? Harry!"

"Get him to the hospital, quickly!" McGonagall orders.

Fred and George nods as they lift him up and drag him towards the school, Alex, Hermione and Ron following after them.

"He looks a bit peaky, doesn't he?"

Alex scoffs, "Peaky?"

"What do you expect? He fell over 100 feet."

"Let's walk you off a tower and see what you look like."

"Probably a right sight better than he normally does."

They all grin as Harry lifts himself off of the bed, "How are you feeling?" Hermione asks sitting on the edge of his bed.

"Oh, brilliant." He says sarcastically making Alex hit him, "Ow! Alex!"

"You gave us a right good scare."

"What happened?" He asks wiping his glasses in his shirt.

Ron sighs and looks at the bundle in his arm, "Well, you fell off your broom."

"Really?" Harry asks sarcastically.

Ron rolls his eyes, "You've been hanging out with 'Lex too much."

"I meant the match. Who won?" Harry clarifies.

"No one blames you, Harry. Dementors aren't supposed to be on the grounds. Dumbledore's furious. After he saved you, he sent them off."

"There's something else you should know too. When you fell, your broom sort of blew into the Whomping Willow, and... Well..." He uncovers the broken broom and Harry sighs as he flops down onto the bed.

"Better than your neck, Harry." Everyone glares at Alex and she shrugs.
