{Yujin} - the IVE members interrogate you - ITZY sixth member

"Alright, I'm about to head out," Yujin told the girls as she brought the strap of her purse over her shoulder. "Y/N's almost here."

"Wait," Gaeul said before standing up. "Don't you think we should meet her?"

"Well, yeah. But it's only our second date."

"Well then, we should've met her one date ago," Rei spoke, shrugging her shoulders.

Yujin was about to speak when her phone chimed with a message from you and instead of walking out the door and heading to the car, she texted you back to have you come inside.

"I don't know why you're all so insistent on meeting her but I'm trusting you not to scare her away." She said as she set her bag on the table and then opened the door as you came up the steps.

The rest of the girls were now gathered around the kitchen while Yujin had you step inside.

"You look beautiful." She complimented.

"Thank you, so do you." You grinned before looking around. "Is everything okay?"

"They wanted to meet you... if that's okay."

"Yeah, it's fine." You nodded before looking at her members, your eyes bright and full of excitement to be meeting the girls.

"Here, Y/N. Sit down." Leeseo spoke, pulling a chair out at the table for you.

"Okay, sure." You replied before sitting down.

It almost felt like you were being interrogated by the police as the members stared at you, their fingers tapping on the table or their arms folded over their chests as they waited for you to say something.

"It's nice to meet you. Yujin told me all about you on our first date."

"Yeah? That's good. She told us about you too but not enough to make us feel like we know you." Wonyoung said. "And, you see, Yujin is incredibly important to us all. She's got a good heart and loves everyone so hard and she deserves that in return."

"I agree, she's great."

"Great? That's all you have to say about her? Just... great?" Rei asked.

"Great is a compliment, you know?" You chuckled.

"Look, we can't let things go further between you and Yujin without some peace of mind," Liz spoke.

"Okay, hang on," Yujin began to say, not quite liking how Liz phrased that.

But you shook your head.

"It's okay," You assured before looking back at her for a second and then at her members again. "What kind of peace of mind?"

"We need to get to know you more. We need to learn about your intentions. You're in ITZY, so you have a big fanbase like we do." Gaeul said before sitting across from you. "But we have to know... did your company put you up to this? Is it PR? Is it fake and just for more eyes on you and your members?"

While some might've taken the question in a harsh way, you didn't.

"Not at all. Yujin and I met through a mutual friend and hit things off before going on our first date. JYPE doesn't even know we're together. Only my members and you all do."

"Okay. Well, what are your intentions with our sweet Yujin?" Wonyoung wondered.

You glanced at Yujin and almost got lost in the smile pulling at her lips and in how soft her hand was as it wrapped around yours.

"I care very much about her. I can't predict the future and it's still only our second date so I don't want to rush into things. But I like her a lot. Since ITZY debuted, I haven't dated much. No one has ever made me feel the way she does. My chest fills with butterflies any time her fingers brush against mine or when she smiles at me. I would never hurt her. I don't ever want to break her heart or make her cry. I want to make her as happy as she makes me."

The girls looked at each other and then looked back at you again.

"And if things do work out, would you marry her? Let's say three years from now, she's ready for that. Would you want that? Or would you make her feel like these years were a waste of her time?" Liz asked. "She deserves the world, Y/N. We'd be lost without her."

"I know, I agree with you. Look, again, I don't want to rush into anything but we've had that conversation already because it's important to talk about those things so you know where you stand and to see if you want the same things, to be sure the relationship would be worthwhile. The answer is yes."

The girls all seemed to light up over your response.

"What do your members think of you dating Yujin?" Rei asked.

"They're so excited! They're overjoyed for me. When I got back to the dorm after our first date, they were awake waiting for me and asked me so many questions, wanting to hear every detail. They're so supportive of me, we're all supportive of each other. At the end of the day, sometimes this path can make you feel a little lonely and you might not know who you can trust but I know I can trust them. Trust me, they adore her."

"They interrogated me that night before our date, just like you're doing now to Y/N," Yujin chuckled.

"We just care about you," Leeseo said. "So much. We want you to be happy. We don't ever want your heart to be broken and we need to be sure that you're dating someone who will give you the world because you deserve it!"

"I know," Yujin said, her eyes sparkling so brightly. "Thank you."

"We like everything we've heard so far," Gaeul said. "But just one more thing. ITZY and IVE have a lot of comebacks. We're always busy and we know you are too. You don't think that your schedule would keep you from seeing Yujin, right?"

"No. I'm invested in this relationship. I like her a lot and I would never get with someone if I didn't think I could handle it. As busy as I may get and as busy as she gets, we know nothing can ever come between us. Trust me, I would never take the chance of letting that happen. Especially when I'm falling so hard for her."

Yujin hugged you from behind, her arms wrapping around your neck before she kissed your cheek softly, making you both laugh.

"Alright, Y/N. I guess that's all we need to hear." Wonyoung said before folding her arms over her chest.

You looked at her and then the rest of the girls just in time to watch them light up once more.

"We think you're perfect for her."

You giggled happily before getting up.

"That means a lot to me. Thank you."

"Now go out and have fun. Keep treating her well." Gaeul said as she followed you and Yujin to the door.

"Yeah, and that goes for you too, Yujin. We like Y/N so don't mess this up!." Liz playfully warned.

"Oh, trust me," Yujin said as she wrapped her arm around you. "I would never do such a thing."

The girls waved goodbye as you and Yujin got in the car and took off and when the door closed, the girls all looked at each other happily.

"You know, I've never seen Yujin so happy," Leeseo spoke.

"Same here and I've known her for a long time now," Wonyoung commented, sitting on the couch. "But that's because she's found the one, I just know it."
