You opened your heavy eyes as soon as you saw a hint of the sun starting to rise.

It was a few minutes after seven am but you had been wide awake all night.

All you could do was toss and turn as your mind rushed, full of fears and questions as you contemplated the decision that you knew you had to make eventually.

Kicking the blankets away, you sat up and took one more glance out your window, hoping that you were making the best choice.

It's the one you thought of about an hour ago and it seems like the best one you can make as your heart keeps being pulled in two different directions.

Getting out of bed, you walked down the steps and saw that Karina and Giselle were still in the kitchen, both of them sound asleep with their heads resting on their arms, a little distance between them.

Your footsteps on the floor, however, awoke them from their sleep.

"Hey," You quietly said. "Can we talk?"

"Of course," Giselle said, scooting the chair between them out for you to sit in.

You did so and looked at your hands on the table before looking at them.

"I couldn't sleep last night. My mind wouldn't slow down. It felt like whatever I chose, I was letting someone down and breaking someone's heart. We're all so close and I was so afraid that if I chose between the two of you, someone might have hard feelings and it might ruin the group altogether."

"No, Y/N, that won't happen," Karina assured. "Giselle and I talked last night and we both agree that whatever your heart wants is what you need to do and we won't take it personally, no matter what."

You looked at them both before nodding.

"How do you feel about each other?"

Their eyes met before they shrugged their shoulders.

"We're close, you know that," Giselle spoke. "Our bond is pretty strong."

"Do you feel the same about each other like you do for me?"

"Are you saying you don't want to be with either of us and think we should be with each other?" Karina asked, her eyebrows raised slightly in confusion.

You shook your head with a giggle.

"Not exactly. I had another idea."

You put a hand over one of theirs.

"Truthfully, I love you both. So I had the idea that, maybe, we should get together. The three of us."

They looked at each other in surprise because that thought hadn't crossed their minds.

Yet, it was logical.

As they sat there and thought about it, they realized that they do have feelings for each other just like they have feelings for you.

"It'll take some time to figure things out but it just feels right." You said and held your breath as you waited for them to answer.

"I like that idea." Karina smiled and Giselle began to do the same.

"I do too."

"So... that's what we should do then?" You asked and watched them nod.

"Yeah. You know, it might take a little getting used to but I think that we could make it work. I think that's a great idea and the one that makes the most sense for the three of us." Giselle spoke and Karina nodded in agreement.

You sighed in relief, thankful that you didn't have to choose between them because it was just impossible to do such a thing.

You all leaned in and shared a big hug.

"This isn't exactly how I pictured this turning out but I'm not complaining." Karina laughed.

"Same here," Giselle commented as she squeezed you both tight.

You felt like the luckiest girl in the world and couldn't wait to see what the future holds from here on out as you embark on a new journey and relationship as three.
