Maya's P.O.V.
I'm really happy to have my brother back. It feels like my heart had another piece back that was missing for four years.

"So, Ben tell us what's been up with you." Sawyer said.

"Well, as you guys know, I was stationed in the U.S. Navy four years ago. I had a partner, Steve, who unfortunately was killed in combat a year ago. And now that I'm out I plan to purpose to my girlfriend Steph." Ben replied.

"Awe, Ben! I'm so happy for you and Steph. I've always liked her. She's super sweet." I replied.

"Thanks sis." Ben said to me.

"So Ben, you said that you'd like to meet the kids?" Sawyer asked.

"I'd love too! And the rest of your crew as well if that's okay." Ben told Sawyer.

"That would be awesome!" Sawyer responded. I love how well they're getting along.

Me and Sawyer are cuddled up on the love seat while Ben is sat across from us on the one seater.

"Well I'll call my mom right now and they'll come over here so you can meet them." Sawyer told Ben.

"Sounds good." He responded.

When Sawyer left Ben leaned forward towards me.

"Now, tell me about how you really feel."

"About Sawyer?" I asked. He nodded his head.

"Well, I love him. He's the best things that's literally ever happened to me. I couldn't ask for anyone better."

"And would you marry him?" Ben asked me.

"I'm only 17." I replied.

"Not quite." Ben replied.

"It's not 10:13 pm yet." He said and stuck out his tongue at me.

"Haha very funny." I replied.

"But seriously, does he treat you good?" Ben asked.

"Just like a princess." I replied with a smile.

"Now, if he asked you, would you marry him?"

"Oh, I don't know. Maybe." I said.

"Maybe? You have to know. If he came in this house right now, dropped to his knees, and asked you to marry him, would you say oh I don't know, maybe?" Ben asked.

"Ben what's with the marriage questions?" I asked laughing.

"I just know Maya." He responded.

"Know what?" I asked.

"He's going to marry you."

"I don't know about that." I said.

"I do." He replied.

"If you say so." I said.

"Mhmm, Mrs. Fredericks." He muttered.

"Hey!" I said. Just then Sawyer walked in.

"Can I help you Mrs. Fredericks?" Sawyer asked teasingly.

I couldn't help but blush. It does have a nice ring to it.

I saw Sawyer look and Ben, and Ben just nodded. The next thing I knew was Sawyer picking me up and carrying me outside. I knew exactly what he's doing.

"No! No Ben please help!" I yelled.

"Okay I mean, if you say so." He replied. Then he helped Sawyer instead of me!

"No I mean me!"

"Oh, okay." He said and helped Sawyer push me into the pool.

"Guys!" I laughed.

"Yeessss?" They asked trying to look cute and innocent.

"Can I at least push you in now?" I asked them.

"Sure." They said.

So I got out of the water and walked up close to them both.

I went to push them in, but they both grabbed a wrist each and pulled me in with them.

"I knew that you guys were going to do that!" I said laughing along with then.

"I've missed this." Ben said.

"Missed what?" I asked.

"We always did this when the last day of school would come around. We'd mess around in the pool just you and me." He replied.

"I remember that. I also remember you and me throwing water at mom and dad and then we all ended up in the pool until late at night." I said.

"That was the best." Ben replied laughing.

"That was. Now Sawyer can be in on the tradition from now on." I said smiling at him.

"I'd love that." Sawyer replied looking at me.

"Y'all are adorable." Ben said.

"Ha, thanks." I replied.

"We should go eat lunch." Sawyer said.

"I could eat." I replied. Ben nodded his head.

We all got out of the pool drenched, and headed inside. I went to go get three towels from me and Sawyers bathroom. I came back and handed each of us one.

"Sandwiches?" Sawyer asked going through the fridge.

"Sounds good to me. Ben?"

"Great!" Ben replied.

We fixed our sandwiches and went into the living room.

"Movie?" I asked.

"Yeah." Ben and Sawyer said.

"Which one?" I asked.

"Woman in black!" Ben said.

"That's been your favorite." I replied. He just smiled and laughed a little.

"Your right." Ben said.

"Sawyer?" I asked.

"Go ahead. It's a good movie." He replied fist bumping Ben.

I put the movie in and went to sit down to eat.

When we were done eating, we all sat together and continued to watch.

At a certain part, the woman jumped out and I jumped.

"Ahh!" I yelled and jumped to Ben.

"Really?" He asked looking at me like I was crazy.

"It's scary!" I defended myself.

"Sawyer didn't even jump." Ben said.

"Y'all, are men." I replied.

"Alright." Ben said and cuddled me throughout the rest of te movie.

When it was over I fell asleep.

Bens P.O.V.
The movie just ended. I went to get up and found Maya was asleep in my lap.

"Psst, Sawyer? What do I do?" I asked.

"Here." He replied taking her from me. He held her gently, bridal style, and carried her to the room. I watched him be so careful with the girl who was once my life. It does hurt a little to see that when I got back from war, she had moved on.

She was my life for years after mom and dad died. I would drive her to school every morning, then get her every afternoon. Now, she has a new man in her life. I regret leaving her everyday, she met Justin right before I left. And after I left, Justin knew that there was no way that I could get to her.

That's when he began to rape her and abuse her. If I would've never left her, she'd be okay. But I'm glad that Sawyer found her. He saved her life. And for the baby, I'm going to make sure that I don't leave it, like I did its mom. Sawyer will be the best dad, even if the baby isn't his...
