I Hate To Love

Maya's P.O.V.
Justin and I are making out on the sofa. This is terribly wrong, I know that it's wrong.

"Justin- w-what are we doing?" I asked pulling away from him.

"I'm-I'm so sorry Maya. I know you're with Sawyer." He said setting me off of his lap.

"Yeah, he's gonna kill me." I replied running my hands through my long hair.

"He has to understand that this was only a one time thing though. This can never happen again." He said looking into my eyes.

"Justin, I thought I was over you. I thought that I hate you. But that kiss-that kiss just proves, I still love you Justin." I replied looking into his eyes.

He stood up and walked up too me and put his hands on my hips.

"Maya, I love you too. But there's no way that I'm letting you be with me. I'm too dangerous, I'm just going to hurt you. You love Sawyer, y'all are having a kid, plus you have two already. I'm not going to mess this up for you two." He said.

"You're right, I love Sawyer. I don't know what I was thinking. Sorry, bye Justin. See ya later." I replied quickly grabbing my stuff and walking out of the house and went to find Sawyer.

"Sawyer!" I said running up to him.

"Maya, I've only been gone for a few minutes. What's wrong?" He asked. Oh nothing I just made out with another guy that wasn't you that's all.

"Nothing, I just missed you." I lied.

"Well I missed you too." He smiled quickly kissing me.

"I don't want to be one of those girlfriends who pulls their boyfriends from a conversation but, I think it's appropriate if I do that right now." I said quickly.

Sawyer and Johnny just looked at me as if I was completely crazy.

"What are you talking about Maya?" Sawyer asked me confused.

"We need to talk, about us." I said looking at the ground.

"Um, okay. Johnny I'll be back." Sawyer told Johnny before walking with me to a forest.

We stopped at a running river that had a bench next to it. We sat down and silence took over.

After almost five minutes of complete silence, Sawyer decided to speak.

"Maya, what's wrong? You've been acting strange lately. Is something upsetting you, or is this another hormonal feeling with the baby? Whatever it is Maya, I promise that I'll take away whatever's bothering you." He said putting his hand on mine.

I decided to look at him. But that was a really bad idea, because as soon as I looked at him I broke down crying.

"Maya? Please, tell me what's wrong with you? You're worrying me." Sawyer said rubbing his hand up and down my back trying to sooth me. But it's no use, nothing's okay anymore.

"It's- Justin." I replied simply.

"What about Justin? Did he hurt you again?" Sawyer asked.

I shook my head no not being able to make out any words.

"Than what happened? Did he-did he kiss you Maya?" He asked me letting go of me and looking into my eyes sadly.

"I'm-I'm so sorry Sawyer." I cried with my head in my hands.

"Did he kiss you, or did you kiss him?" He asked.

"He kissed me, but I let it-I let it happen." I said trying to calm my breathing.

"Maya, how could you?" He asked scooting away from me.

"Sawyer I didn't mean for it too! Do you think that I wanted that? We started talking about him going away to prison! And then he started talking about the baby and how as long as he got to see her once it would be okay! We have a connection Sawyer, a strong one! He was my life for years! And I'll always have a place inside me that loves him so much, do you expect me to just forget about him in a day?" I asked getting mad.

"Maya, I'm sorry. I was wrong, I'm just so scared that he's better than me and that you're going to go back to him after what he did to you. I'm scared because, because I know you still love him Maya. You still love him." He replied looking at the ground fiddling with his hands.

I didn't say anything, what can you say when you hear something like that?

"Sawyer, you know that I love you. You don't have to be afraid." I said looking at him.

"Promise? I want to trust you Maya, but everyday I'm finding it harder to do so." He replied looking up at me again letting me see the tears in his eyes.

"I'm sorry." I said.

"Please Maya, don't hurt me." He whispered.

"Sawyer, I wouldn't ever hurt you." I said with tears in my eyes.

"I love you." He said.

"I love you too Sawyer, so so much." I replied.

He leaned in to me and kissed me with so much passion that all the tears that were running down my cheeks stopped.

He let go and took my hands in his.

"Maya, I want to take you somewhere." He said.

"Where?" I asked looking into his eyes.

"Tomorrow night, we're going out to a place. A special place to me. And I'm taking you there." He replied smiling slightly.

"Okay?" I asked confused.

"You'll love it. Come on let's get back to the house." He said taking my hands and we walked back to the house.

At The House...
Sawyers P.O.V.
I can't wait for tomorrow. Maya's going to be so surprised. I think that I've waited long enough to this for us. We have a family, why not make it official?
