Chapter XI

I told YoungSoon about our kiss. We haven't seen each other in a week. I do miss her, I can't get her out of my head.

"Y/N, are you ok darling? You didn't even touched your food, it will get cold" My mom asked me, I can sense she knows somethings is off but I don't feel like sharing it with her
"Nothing, I'm not hungry" I lied, I want her to get off my back
"Dear, something is going on with you. We've never seen you so stressed. You can tell us if something is wrong at the restaurant and it is pressuring you or you want to talk about something" I sighed
"I'm Okay, Eomma! I just need some air, alright?"

I stood up and put my shoes on. I have no idea where to go, but with my earphones on, I let the music guide me. I ended up going for a jog in the park. I kept jogging until the sun started setting. I sat down on a bench to catch my breath.

"I wasn't so hopeful that I would find you here." I looked up, Chae-Young stood in front of me with her hands in her pockets
"I wasn't expecting you to be here also" I took my earphones off
"You jog?" She took off her mask
"Yeah, since I was a junior in high school" I wiped off the sweat from my forehead.
"You're mad?" She bit her lip and sat next to me on the bench. I sighed.
"I'm not mad, Chae-Young. But I don't get it, what's your deal?" She looked down at her feet
"I can explain, Y/N.." I looked at her
"I don't need any explanations. I want to know the truth, you kissed me and what was your plan after that? Ghosting me?" She lifted her head up, facing me.

"You want the truth, Y/N?"
"Yes, I want to know" I never saw her so nervous
"I-I'm falling for you, Y/N, very bad..." Oh wow
"Will you accept me? Will You?" Oh god, I'm fucking blushing
"I-I'm falling for you too, Chae-Young..."

She looked surprised, but after that she started blushing
"You do?" I was nodding as a smile popped on the face "Y/N, wanna go on a date with me?" She bit her lip. I raised my eyebrows and laughed
"I would love to, Rose! Can I call you that?" She laughed
"Yeah, but after our date. That would make us closer"
