BTS - The Most Beautiful Moment In Live, Pt. 1

1:34 - 2:22

I DIDN'T CRY. I DIDN'T SCREAM. I didn't feel. I tried to understand something that didn't make any sense at all, and I wondered if he had ever been sincere. Every moment I thought special, every confession he made...

Jungkook had to be one heck of a great actor if they were all just pretend. Damn, I hated this so bad. I absolutely hated being in a position where I had to question myself about every little thing that happened ever since I met him.

"Is she okay?? She hasn't answered my calls since last night."

I let out a gasp of surprise at the sound of his voice. Maybe I thought that since he'd be busy with his new album, photoshoots, and promos, he wouldn't mind cutting it all short. Cutting me short.

But Jungkook was here.

"Yeah, she's fine... as long as you stay the hell away from her," Leonor practically growled at him.

"Stay away?! What's going on? I wanna see her. I need to see her."

"She doesn't wanna see you."

"If I did something wrong, I need to tell her that I'm sorry. Please."

"You should leave, Jungkook."

"I'll stay until she comes out of the bedroom. Eventually," he retorted stubbornly, and my heart tightened as his footsteps became closer and closer.

"What? You cannot do that!!"

"And what are you gonna do about it? Call the police on me?"

"No..." my best friend huffed loudly, stomping away. "Bloody hell!"

I heard Jungkook slide down against the door and onto the floor, sighing deeply. "Honey... whatever it is I can explain. Please, let me in."

I decided to leave him there for at least an hour -one hour and thirteen minutes, to be exact- before opening the door. I owed it to myself to get an explanation now since I wouldn't be here to hear it later.

He quickly staggered to his feet and reached out for me, but I turned around to sit on my bed.

I couldn't help noticing that his eyes were a little red. Had he been crying?

Silence, we were in my bedroom in silence. I would've never thought that no sound at all could actually be quite this loud. There were many words still unsaid, just hanging at the tip of our tongues. Something about seeing him for the last time made it hard for me to speak.
