I hold Nico's hand as we pass by shops. It was Taehyung's birthday soon and we needed to find a good gift for him.
"Daddy how old is taetae?" Nico looks up at me.
"He's turning 23 sweetheart" I smile down at her and she nods.
"Is everyone older than me?" She asks as we walk into a Gucci clothing store.
"Yes baby girl" I say as I look through racks of clothes.
I don't hear much from her as I look around. I assume she's just following me, but when I turn around I don't see her.
I start to panic and look around.
"Nico?" I look through the racks.
"Daddy look at this" I spot Nico holding up a sweatshirt.
I walk up to her and sigh.
"What-"
"Daddy would taetae like this? I saw him wearing a similar one" she inspected the blue sweater with the logo on the back and a big bee plastered on the front.
I look over the sweater and nod.
"He should like it" I take the sweater and pay for it.
I grab onto her hand again and walk forward towards the car.
"Daddy, daddy look!" Nico chirps.
I sigh as I turn to look into a pet store.
"What is it baby" I say irritatedly.
"It's a puppy!" She points at the window.
I see a small golden retriever wagging its tail as she looks at Nico.
"Daddy can we get her please" She turns to me with big puppy eyes.
"Baby Not now maybe-"
"But Daddy, she's so lonely in there and looks so happy to see me!" She points at the puppy who I hear barking from the inside of the store.
"Not now-"
"Please please please daddy! I promise I'll take good care of her please~" she tugs on my shirt. I sigh and roll my eyes as I grab her hand.
