Yoonbum stares at his dull reflection. "Is this really what I look like?" His bony fingers feel along the sharp edges of his hollowed cheeks. Limp black hair contrasts against his pale skin and the length of his matted locks has increased greatly since when he had first step foot in Sangwoo's home. It only seems to make him look even more ill. How did things get this way?

Bum and Sangwoo never really had a sweet spot in their relationship, but they were definitely getting there. Take the other day at the ski resort. The two shared a bed together for the first time in a long time. But right after they got back home, it was as if Bum didn't exist again. Sure Y/n and JoJo came around and mistakes were made, but that shouldn't distracted Sangwoo the way that it did. "Sangwoo should've stayed focused on me."

The dull character in the mirror raises a scrawny bandaged digit and taps the glass a single time, pointing straight at Yoonbum's heart. A chill blows through the bathroom, sending shivers up Yoonbum's scrawny and exposed legs. "You weren't focused on Sangwoo either, were you?" The muffled voice cackles. "You were too busy trying to hurt Y/n, who, may I remind, even you were taken by at one point!"

Yoonbum reels back from the sinister figure that looks down at him mockingly. Falling flat onto his bottom, and he hastily scoots away from the being that's seeping out of the mirror. Unable to control himself, Yoonbum shuts his eyes and screams.

Immediately, the screech of breaking glass greets his ears. Yoonbum's eyes widen, his heart convulsing in terror. He looks up from his awkward position on the floor, but the mirror is perfectly intact and the horrid reflection of himself is gone.

A deep pit of fear settles in Bum's stomach. This is no time to be relieved. The sound of boots crunching on broken glass can faintly be recognized. The crash must have come from somewhere else in the house.

Seungbae fixes his glasses, pushing them further up the bridge of his nose. He's finally inside. Wasting no time, he observes his surroundings and quickly gets to work. Thanks to the small bedroom being so organized, he can go even faster. Seungbae looks through all the drawers, moving from bottom to top, he searches under the bed, and even breaks open the vent located on the floor to check inside. Nothing. He has to move on.

"If I was a murderer..." Seungbae thinks quietly out loud as he walks down the stairs to the main level of the house. "Where would I hide the evidence?" Probably not the kitchen, or living room. It has to be an area that he has easy access to, but is well hidden and not commonly passed through by the people that enter his house. "Perhaps the bathroom?" He mumbles. It would be suspicious if someone stayed in there too long, giving someone little time to search for something.

Seungbae steps into the bathroom and finds it rather average. Tile floors, a clean tub and shower, a cheap counter for the sink, toothbrushes, and a nice mirror. Seungbae tried his hardest to think. Min Ji Eun. She had been tied up somewhere, though for a short amount of time. They had determined that she could've really been tied to a wall or pole due the marks around her wrists. They had also noted that it could've easily just been a case of rough sex and BDSM, but it's easier for Seungbae to not factor that possibility in. As he leaves the bathroom, Seungbae's eyes fall to the toothbrushes once again. "What does he need four toothbrushes for?"

Leaving the shitty shitting room, the detective finds himself investigating a closet. Quickly, he rearranges this and that until finally, he finds a hidden latch that leads to a lower level. It's the perfect place to hide a dead body. His fingers trace the recently added seal around the edges of the basement latch. "It was soundproofed." Hesitantly, Seungbae opens the latch to  Pandora's box of shadow and misfortune. Soon, slow wavering steps travel down the old creaking stairs, and a rugged shadow becomes one with the swirling darkness.
