Nagbihis siya at kinatok si Mamsh sa kwarto nito.
"Lalabas lang ako saglit, Mamsh. Bibili na rin ako ng ulam para mamaya."
AMBER answered the phone. She was expecting it after receiving the video.
"Mom." Aniya.
"Tell me it isn't what it looks like, Amber." Galit ang tono nito.
"It isn't." sagot ni Amber.
"Then why is that man thanking you for getting him inside Pueblo? Are you....pushing drugs? My, God, Amber, nakakahiya. The head of security went to my office personally! He doesn't do that unless..."
"Mom, he went to your office for money. Let's not kid ourselves. And no, I'm not pushing drugs. I didn't know Ollie's into drugs. I helped him as a friend."
"Bet you did." Sarcastic ang mama niya.
"Right. I don't understand why you have to call me, hindi ka rin naman maniniwala sa 'kin."
"I can't get hold of your sister. I've been calling since I heard from friends what Monique is planning to do. Itutuloy na n'ya ang demanda kay Darby. She's adding murder to the mix. She thinks she can prove that Darby drove Blanche to kill herself. I need to speak with Darby. Where is she anyway?"
"Pauuwiin mo si Darby kung kelan madedemanda s'ya?"
"No, I'm not an idiot. I'm planning to meet her somewhere as soon as I got my schedule cleared next week. I'm thinking Singapore. Tell her to call me ASAP."
"Sure, I'll tell her." Amber hit 'end call'.
