Dark To Light

(Aph's p.o.v)

Everything is black. Then white. Then everything was fuzzy.

Aph: hello?

Nothing.

Aph: what? Thought that Zoey person was going to help me. What did she do?  Am I free? Hello?

I sigh.

Aph: great.

I look around. Its still all white.

Aph: am I dead now? Is this just going to be my life? Stuck here. In a white room. Feeling sad. Feeling trapped.
Feeling dead. No one to help me.

The white light slowly changed to a white ceiling.

Aph: gah my head.
Doc: Aphmau can you hear us?
Aph: h-huh?
Doc: Aphmau! Aphmau come to us. We are here.
Aph: gah...
Doc: Aphmau! Don't leave us again! Please.
Aph: gahh... Help...
Doc: Aphmau, we are here. Come to us. Come join us Aphmau.
Aph: eh..
Doc: Aphmau. Wake up.

Aphmau is breathing heavily.

Doc: everyone give her space.

I woke up in a panic.

Aph: gah- help.. AIR!
Doc: Aphmau calm down. please.
Aph: w-where am I?
Doc: shhh shh calm down. Your safe. Just calm down. You're okay.
Aph: wh-what? My- my head...
Doc: shhh just lay back down. Nurse get her an ice pack!!
Nur: right!

Aphmau looked around.

Aph: okay.

She calms down.

Aph: so- what happened?
Doc: do u not remember?

Aphmau looks down.

Aph: oh.. oh. Wait how did I get here?
Doc: your friend Lucinda brought you. Your husband, came a few hours ago. I'll have to give him a call.
Aph: okay.

I lied back. I look up at the ceiling.

Aph: geez my head still hurts.
Doc: he'll be here soon Aphmau.
Aph: okay. My head is killing me.
Doc: I'm sorry Aphmau. You'll be getting pain meds soon.
Aph: thanks.

I look around. Everything is still blurry.
Aaron is coming soon. Maybe everyone else too. I just have to wait an see. I fell asleep. I woke to Aaron voice coming close.

Aar: she in here?
Doc: yes sir.
Aar: thanks.

Aaron enters the room.

Aar: Aph?
Aph: he-hey Aaron.
Aar: you doing okay?
Aph: I'm alright. How are you?
Aar: I'm alright too. I'm just glad you are okay.
Aph: im always okay.
Aar: I mean- they said you were lost.
Aph: oh- I get it.
Aar: huh?
Aph: I was lost. Or more trapped?
Aar: what are you talking about?
Aph: I met someone while I was stuck. Her name was Zoey. She help me out.
Aar: and why are you telling me this?
Aph: I need to find her. I want to prove to her.
Aar: which is?
Aph: that I did indeed have a family that need me.
Aar: well of course. Its hard to take care of your cuties without you.
Aph: I'm aware Aaron. Maybe you can help me find her.
Aar: what do you want me to do?
Aph: maybe Lucinda knows. This Zoey person did help me. Maybe Zoey is witch.
Aar: I'll try. Don't put to much hope into this.
Aph: I'm aware of that too. I just want to find her. That's all.
Aar: okay. I'll be back later.

Aaron starts walking away.

Aph: wait Aaron.
Aar: huh?
Aph: can I get a kiss?

Aaron smiles.

Aar: hehe of course.

Aaron comes over and gives her a kiss.

Aar: I'll be back.
Aph: cya Aaron.

I look out the window.

Zoey.... Who ever you are... I promise I'll give back what you did to me.
I promise Zoey. Ill find you.
