finally noticed

i sat on the couch, sam on one side of me, fire on the other.

fire was playing asphalt 9, one of her racing games. i was scrolling through my explore page on instagram. sam was doing whatever on his phone -i didn't know, i don't peep at people's phones- while he ate from his bowl of mixed fruits.

as soon as he picked up a strawberry, i cracked a smile and a dumb joke, "you look berry handsome today."

he stops, looks at the strawberry, chuckles, then looks up at me.

"are you flirting with me?" he asks, leaning in a rad bit closer.

"you finally noticed?" i mocked, leaning in as well.

fire clears her throat and laughs awkwardly.

i sit up and turn my head, giving her a smug smile.

"i'm getting more action than you, don't get too jealous." i laugh.
