chapter 7

"so, about the project,.."

I looked at my partner and raised a brow.

"what about it?"

In return, he also raised his eyebrow.

"why so grumpy? I just asked" he slungged back on his chair and pouted.

I resisted the urge to kiss back that pout.

what the fuck? get a hold of yourself yeonjun! you're better than this!

While I was having an internal conflict with myself, Soobin asked "your place or mine?"

I looked over at him and think, if he would go to my place, he would discover I'm rich and I can't let that happen.

"your place"

He shrugged and made an ok sign and continued to be annoying.

why did i even thought of kissing him?

I silently groaned and gently bang my head on my desk.

ffs i just met the guy!

"hey you ok there?"

I turned to soobin and nodded weakly. He nodded in response and tried to have a converstaion with me.

"so....., what's your favorite animal?"

he seemed unsure about the question and chuckled awkwardly.

"what kind of question is that?"

Soobin groaned, "can't you just have a civil conversation with me for once?!" he slightly raised his voice and I widened my eyes.

I gave him a 'wth look' and covered his mouth.

"ok! ok! Ill talk properly just..just keep your tone down."

He smiled triumphantly and asked again,

"what's your favorite animal?" he asked

"I prefer cats"

He made a thinking face and answered  "I prefer dogs"

"so we are like the opposite, opposite attracts am I right?" he added.

I grimaced at him and looked at him as if I was disgusted which i am.

"you are terrible at flirting"

He huffed and just sulked at his chair.

I giggled at his state and quickly covered my mouth.

"did you just giggled slash smiled?"

I widened my eyes and muffled a 'no i did not'

"you should smile often, you look beautiful that way." He smiled at me and ruffled my hair.

I blushed, feeling flustered.

Good thing after that, the bell immediately rang. We quickly exchanged numbers and went our own seperate ways.

I exited the classroom with Beomgyu trailing behind me.

We were just about to head towards that café for me to explain all of it to Beomgyu and the truth behind all the shits thats happening to me.

Until suddenly, I felt a push on my shoulder.

"hey, beom!"

Yeji with Lia, beside her also smilling towards Beomgyu, of course.
