Then you went and sat on your bed and pulled out The Devil in Winter again. You opened it and began reading. But you couldn't see the words through your tears. You closed the book and rolled over to Payton's side of your bed, you stuffed your face into his pillow and started balling. You got up and grabbed one of his shirts from the drawers in the corner of your room and slumped back over to bed, you laid on your back hugging it, you tried to stop for fear of everyone else hearing you but you couldn't help it, you could hardly breathe let alone stop all together, you grabbed your phone and called Payton's number*

Pay~ y/n? Are you crying?

Pay~ what why?

y/n~ I'm sorry. For ever-ything. I never kne-ew this w-ould happen, I d-didn't even know my d-ad would try a-nd talk to m-me all tog-together

y/n~ my body. My hea-rt. They hurt. Physically, I ca-can't do anything, because an-ything is too much if I don't have you ther-e with me.

Pay~ y/n. You are the strongest woman I know. You are so amazing and independent and you can do anything if you put your mind to it, you can still do all of that without me for a couple days.

y/n~ no I cant, when I go to co-ok you're not there hyping m-me up, when I go to bed you're not there cu-cuddling me, when I w-ake up, you're not in the bathroom brushing your teeth, I can't read our fav-favourite book without you, I can't do a-nything without feeling broken and alone.
