Among the chatters of your coworkers and the sounds of wrappers that were being ripped, you took your seat at the small table where you occupied while on break.

Some would eat food that they brought from home and others the dish that the kitchen serves of them while you would mostly stay watching as you didn't really like eating much at work. It wasn't that you weren't hungry or anything of the such of course. It was simply the fact that you felt your speed decreasing if you were to be on a full stomach and you didn't want your productivity to drop.

That reason was one of the things that had managed to often make you get critiques on your weight that in reality remained constant through most of your life. Last time you were a bit healthier than this was when you were in high school. Days that weren't exactly that pleasant to you.

"Only coffee again Y/N." Sonia pointed out and you gave her a thin smile before you proceeded to take a sip of your cup.

"Of course. It's not easy to be skinny. She has to make sacrifices." Laya, a working maid at this hotel which was around your age, added, making the others nod bitterly while you chose to remain quiet since you couldn't really relate to what they were talking about.

In all honesty, you couldn't even understand why the topic never failed to come up and why someone's appearance had to matter this much. Who said that skinny was better and who said the opposite of it? To you, it was nothing but an opinion that someone had once created and somehow it had spread around. No one was stopping anyone from opposing it and definitely you weren't one to be feared to oppose social opinions.

As long as someone is healthy there is nothing else that mattered in your eyes since you had gotten the taste of illness way to well. Even though it may have not been on your own body, you would have given your life away if it meant to make that certain someone healthy yet people get stuck to these superficial ways of thinking, forgetting what really matters.

"Now that you said sacrifice, did you heard the news about Mr.Yoon." Reina, a woman around her thirties spoke as she places her locks behind her ear and leaned inwards the table.

"You are talking about him being replaced?" Sonia questioned and her words managed to get your attention which had slipped away to past memories.

"I am not sure if replaced is the right way to put it. I heard he got fired and that a new general manager will be arriving by tomorrow." Reina let them further in on the gossip her ears had caught while working and her words didn't take long to spark a conversation that gave birth to many assumptions why might he have gotten fired so out of the blue.

You remained quiet even though this time you were more focused on what was being said around than you actually let it show because you on your own thoughts were making your own assumptions that of course were difficult to be proven.

On the one hand, you would have liked for him to have indeed gotten fired and lost his job simply because it felt like he kinda deserves something to go wrong for him after the conspiracies he was pulling behind the back of that actor and at the other hand you couldn't help but think that even if it was so, after he was to get the money from the blackmailing, it probably won't matter much to him, that he was fired.

Getting what you deserve in life sure took its sweet time to come.

---Time skip---

Your breath hanged abruptly on your lips as you stepped out of the unfamiliar for you, elevator in which you had entered with the same nervous thoughts you had entered the said building.

Taken aback by the decor at the beginning and later surprised by the lack of a security guard, you had managed to get on the elevators and pressed the button of the ninth floor where your destination was. A destination that laid some feet away now, yet the closer you got, the more you felt hesitant.

It was weird after all. You were going to meet a celebrity and it sure was your first time seeing one up close and talk to them. They were normal people yes, but your nervousness didn't lay on the fact that he was famous but mostly it was because you were approaching him with certain intentions.

It wasn't a clean move from your side nor you had any good intentions and that was what made you doubt your behavior and ability to actually pull a friendly and normal stance before him.

The only good thing in all this was that you wouldn't be alone with him at least, as DongMin had reassured you that he was gonna be there at the first introduction. A reassurance that didn't quiet satisfied you not only because seeing his face was unpleasant for you but also because that's all he had told you.

As what was he going to introduce you and as what were you going to be able to be around him, you still didn't know. Whatever was that his brain had thought of, he had left you in the dark and that alone was worrisome since you sure didn't trust DongMin. If it wasn't for the fact that you actually have him at the palm of her hands, You surely would have never come here so blindly.

An exhale left your lips as you stood now in front of the apartment door which DongMin had texted you to be at and slowly proceeded to ring the bell.

The hour wasn't too late so you had nothing to worry even if it was for you to have made a mistake and this ends up, to not have been the right door, as you started thinking as the seconds ticked away, without a response.

A thought that vanished as soon as the door flew open and before your eyes appeared DongMin in some quiet comfortable attire.

"Come in. He is inside." He whispered to you the second part before he made some way for you to enter and you reluctantly did so, as your mind started regretting for ever coming this far.

"Jimin~ "He called his name as he proceeded to walk ahead and you slowly followed after him, till you reached the living room where the actor was seating comfortably on the couch. A position that changed immediately once he noticed your presence as he quickly stood up and straightened his posture.

Unlike DongMin, his attire was way more serious. A dark suit that covered his frame quite well and his dark hair that was styled upwards, leaving to view his forehead which was being decorated by some strands of hair that seemed to straight and well placed to have spontaneously escaped from the rest.

"Good evening." You greeted him politely, knowing that since you were the one that came, you had to be the first to speak as well and announce your presence.

"Good evening." He replied as he responded to your small bow of the head with a similar one then proceeded to glance at his manager, waiting for further explanations regarding this unexpected presence of the unknown to him female.

For a moment Jimin couldn't help but think that you may have been someone DongMin might have been seeing and had visited his place without the knowledge that he wasn't alone yet for tonight but his assumption was quickly erased as DongMin spoke up.

"She is a new trainy in the company. I mentioned briefly to you earlier about the new program that the CEO decided to test, didn't I?" He looked at Jimin, reminding him of a conversation he had deliberately started earlier, claiming things that were far from true.

The company had not come up with any training program for new actors nor you were a trainy signed under the labeling company that Jimin was working for, as he was about to claim in a bit.

"Yes, I remember about that but what does this have to do with this young lady?" Jimin questioned while his eyes wandered from his manager to you, who held his eye contact without any apparent difficulty.

"She is the trainy that is assigned under your care. From today on, you are responsible for the knowledge she is to gain on the field of acting." DongMin's words made Jimin's facial expression display his surprise as he hadn't thought back when they were discussing about the said program that the CEO would assign someone to him as well, considering his packed schedule.

While your face mirrored his, simply because you weren't expecting anything of the sort when DongMin had told you that he was gonna do his best to come up with something to get you as close to him as he could.

How were you even going to manage to pass for an actor in proceeds of the making when you knew absolutely nothing about this field nor were you ever interested in it?
