❛ 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐡𝐲𝐮𝐧. 𝗇𝖼𝗍 𝖺𝖽𝖽𝖾𝖽 𝗆𝖾𝗆𝖻𝖾𝗋

➶ Nervous introductions ➴

"I'm warning you little idiots now, if she hurts my baby then I will sue all of you."

"I'm literally your boyfriend-"

"And this is my child, she comes first. If Bella hurts her, I take her owners to court...you can do that right? Assault on dog or something? I'll figure it out."

Lucas had been begging Chaehyun to let Eleven meet Bella for weeks. Now, this would have been done sooner but Chaehyun's protectiveness over his dog kind of took over and he refused to let Bella absolutely anywhere near Eleven out of fear of his baby getting hurt.

The WayV boys plus Chaehyun were standing at the park waiting for Ten and Kun to arrive with Bella. Eleven was busy sniffing Yangyang's leg that she didn't even notice Ten and Kun walking down the pathway with Bella.

"Sorry we're late, Bella needed to poop and pee."

"If she pees or shits on my dog, I will kick you to another fucking dimension," Chaehyun threatened.

"She's not gonna do that," Lucas assured him, squeezing his hand. "Stop worrying, it'll be fine."

"I'm sorry, I just get scared she's gonna get hurt," Chaehyun sighed as Eleven timidly moved away from YangYang and back to Chaehyun, hiding behind his legs.

She was shy.

Chaehyun let go of Lucas and turned around. He lifted her up and placed her in front of him, kneeling down so that she was in between his legs. He kept a tight grip on her leash and ran a hand through her fur to calm her down.

"Okay, she won't move from my side. You need to let Bella come to her."

"Yo, imagine if Bella just attacks," Yangyang commented.

"Yo, imagine if I just yeet you into the duck pond," Chaehyun fired back at him and YangYang gave a sarcastic laugh in response.

Bella seemed quite timid but curious. The group of boys watched nervously as Eleven sniffed, leaning her head slightly toward before retreating back. She glanced back to make sure that Chaehyun was still behind her before looking back at Bella.

With a leap of faith, Bella got close enough so that the two could sniff each other. So far, there was no barking. Just two timid dogs trying to get closer.

"I'm clenching my asscheeks so hard right now purely from anxiety," Chaehyun blurted out, never taking his eyes off of the dogs.

Lucas placed a comforting hand on his shoulder, running his thumb across his shirt. Chaehyun quickly turned his head and pecked his hand before turning back to the dogs.

It was a tiny bit of affection, but it still made Lucas's heart flutter.

"Wait, they're playing!" Xiaojun pointed out, causing the boys to gasp as the two dogs gained more confidence and began playing together.

Chaehyun let out a sigh of relief and fell back against Lucas's legs. "I'm stressed."

"Okay, let's try taking them off of the leash."

"Do I have to? I'm pretty comfortable with her being on the- WONG YUKHEI!"

Lucas had already reached over Chaehyun's slouched body and unclipped the leash from Eleven's harness, letting the dog roam freely with Bella.

The two began running around, strikingly more confident. They were still rather close to the boys and Eleven did keep looking back to check for Chaehyun but once she had confirmation that he was still close, she went back to playing with Bella.

"Wow, they really like each other!" Winwin told the boys excitedly.

"The lawsuit still stands if anything happens," Chaehyun threatened weakly, feeling tired from all of the stress.

The boys were all seated on a picnic table and Chaehyun's head was resting against Lucas's shoulder, his eyes glued to his dog as Lucas placed a hand on his knee.

"Love sickens me," Hendery commented.

"You're just bitter and single," Kun told him with a chuckle.

Hendery narrowed his eyes. "You're only saying that because you're not single anymore. If you was, then you'd agree with me! Chaeri changed you."

"Chaeri made us cupcakes last week, she can change him all she wants as long as she keeps surprising us with food," Yangyang told him.

Chaehyun gasped. "Chaeri made you guys cupcakes and didn't make me any? SHE ALWAYS MAKES ME CUPCAKES!"

Hendery laughed sheepishly. "She did. She left a separate container at our dorm for Lucas to give to you but I ate them all by mistake."

Chaehyun scowled. "Lucas! Why didn't you tell me about this?"

"Because i helped him eat them."

Chaehyun made a face of betrayal as he moved away from his boyfriend, pushing his hand off of his knee with a look of pure disgust.

"And to think I gave you kisses."

"I'm sorry, they just looked so good and I already ate all the ones she made for me. I'm sorry, please forgive me," Lucas begged.

Kun rolled his eyes. "I'm never letting her make you guys food again if this is how it's going to end up."

"If you even dare, I will sabotage your relationship." Chaehyun angled his glare to Kun. "Chaeri is one of my best friends, I made that relationship. I can break it in seconds."

Of course, he would never actually do anything to sabotage their relationship, but it was a good threat.

"I am never forgiving you for eating my cupcakes, Lucas." Chaehyun turned his attention back to his boyfriend.

"I said I was sorry! I was hungry, what did you want me to do? Starve?"

"Uh yes, if it meant that I got my cupcakes."

Lucas gasped loudly and Chaehyun folded his arms, turning his back on his  his boyfriend.

Yeah, Chaehyun was definitely not letting this one go.
