I groan as I stretched after sitting in an office chair for about 6 hours. I was trying to go home early since Toshi had gone to the doctor because he hasn't been feeling well and by now he was probably back home. I was really worried since he didn't text me back after I asked him if it went well. So once I finished all of my work I was quick to leave my office building and make my way home.

Since I was so worried I couldn't help but want to try and race over to my shared house with Toshi. But I didn't want to get stopped by the police so I choose to ride safely. I was trying to keep out any negative thoughts about what could have happened to Toshi.

Once I got home I was quick to get out of my car and run over to the front door unlocking it. Once inside I closed the door and locked it before taking off my coat and work shoes. I began looking for Toshi all around the first floor of the house and once I didn't find him I quickly went upstairs.

I slowly open the door to our shared room and let out a breath of relief when I see that he was sleeping with our cats sleeping around him as well. Realizing that the reason why he hadn't texted me back was that he had gone to bed from pure exhaustion.

As I walked closer to him and took a look at his face I couldn't help but frown since there were streaks of dried tears on Toshi's face. I sat down on the ground and gently started playing with his hair. He moved closer to my hand and started purring a bit making me smile slightly.

I saw him start to wake up making me smile a bit. He looked at me and I could tell he was upset from the look in his eyes. I continued to play with his hair before speaking up, "What's wrong, love?" He teared up a bit.

This surprised me a lot since Toshi isn't the type to show a lot of emotions. I quickly stand up from the ground before sitting on the bed and pulling him closer to me. "Come on darling, tell me what's wrong?" I gently caressed his face while wiping his fallen tears away.

"I-i um-um went to the doctors and they told me I-i am pregnant" he whispered the last bit but because we were so close I was able to hear him. My eyes were quick to go wide and tear up a bit. "I'm going to be a dad?" I asked softly.

He slowly nodded his head making me smile brightly. I pulled him into a gentle hug before backing up and pecking his lips. "You're happy?" He asked. I nodded my head with the biggest smile on my face.

He let out a breath of relief while I just smiled and spoke up again, "Thank you for the best gift ever, my love. I love you so so much"

He smiled a bit and said, "I love you too"
