Dhwani's pov:

Time flies so fast. Another two weeks also passed in hurry. From next week onwards Vansh can start going to office daily. Now he just goes only twice or thrice a week. He is kind of fine now. I thought that everything will go back how  it is was before, after he gets well. But we are still the same, in fact we became more friendly if I could put into words.  So I don't know what to expect actually.

Anyways today I am going to meet Amith. I couldn't meet him in person all these days because of Vansh. I couldn't leave him alone at home and go out so we just texted and called each other few times. There are things which we need to talk and clear in person. Otherwise this awkwardness will still linger around us.

I feel like dressing up today. How about a saree? Nope, it will be difficult to handle in office. Suddenly I saw my plain black kurti. I think I found today's costume. It was sleeveless. I paired it with a black leggings and my multi coloured dupatta. I felt good after wearing this. The top was body fitted, I usually wear loose clothes so this is something different from what I wear normally. I wore silver jhumka and bangles with this.

The golden box inside the shelf got my eye. That box contained my mangalsutra and sindhoor. I rarely wear it. When there is not any relation then why wearing its symbols. But today I felt like wearing it. I took the mangalsutra and clasped it around my neck, then took a pinch of sindhoor and applied it in my hairline. I look like a married woman today.

I applied eyeliner, the lipstick and finally a small black bindi. I look so good today. I took a picture and send it to my sister. I am sure that my mother will be so happy to see me like this.

Before I get late I went towards Vansh's. He is still sleeping, so I went towards his bed and patted his arms. He slowly opened his eyes and looked at me without blinking.

"Vansh, Vansh." I tried to call him but he is not responding. I snapped my fingers infront of face making him jerk out of his trance. Then he slowly rubbed both of his eyes. What is this guy doing?

"Are you Ok? What happened to you?" I asked him worriedly. He never behaved like this.

"I- I am fine." He said slowly.

"Where are you going?" He added.

"Obviously office, where else will I go early in morning?" I said.

"You look different today." He said.

"Oh, that I feel like dressing up today. And yeah, I will be late today." I informed him.

"Why, where are you going?" He asked.

"I am going to meet my friend." I told him. Isn't he asking too many questions or am I imagining things?

"Can you take leave today?" He asked me softly.

"Why? Are you not feeling well?" I asked him worriedly. He was fine all these days. Then what happened now? Moreover I can't take a leave because new department head is joining today so it won't look good taking an off on the first day itself. And I told him the same.

"It's ok, you go. I will be fine." Saying this he pulled me into an hug making my breath hitch. What is happening with him now? God why didn't you give me power to read his mind. I need that superpower badly.

Saying bye to him, I went to office.

The new officer is so young. The earlier one was an old man, so everyone expected that the new one also will be an old man. But guy look like he is in his late twenties. To reach in such a big position at this young he must be very intelligent. He is very good looking too. Now onwards the office won't be very boring. I can already feel that from the lovey gazes from the female staffs. I think it's going to be fun.
