Ambushed

Your Pov

It's been awhile since news got out about the Third's death.  The funeral was very depressing and what's worse is I have been getting glares from the villagers.  Rumors have been going around, stating that I was the one who killed the Third. But, I don't know who started them until...one afternoon...

I was walking past the old training grounds and was ambushed by serveeral anbu. 

"Y/n Senju." One said and I looked down at the ground. 

"What do you want?" I asked 

"We know what you did." One hissed 

"Traitor." 

"How could you live with yourself." 

"You should just turn yourself in." 

"Coward!" 

"S-stop!" I said and started to cry. 

"Aww, look she's crying!"  

"I know that voice." I whispered and looked over and saw a medium tall girl with dark green hair. 

"Hmm, You haven't changed much Senju, still such a cry baby." She taunted. 

"Kami, why are you here?" I hissed and she smirked. She walked over towards me and grabbed my face. 

"I'm here to see your downfall, I'm going to be the one who turns you in." Kami said and I looked at her. 

"Hmm? Oh don't glare at me like that." Kami said and pushed me on the ground. I just layed there numb. My body couldn't move it's like I was just waiting to be attacked. Kami then kicked my stomach and placed her foot on my head. 

"Well, isn't this a familiar site, but, aww, Kakashi-kun won't be coming to save you this time."she said and kicked my head. 

"It doesn't matter." I said with no expression 

"What?" Kami said and I looked at her with a blank face. 

"W-why you, why aren't you saying anything?!" she shouted and kicked my over and over again. 

"Isn't this what you always wanted, Kami? To beat me up and be better than me? But, one thing I know for sure is, you will always be that girl who bullied me, and the one girl Kakashi won't ever acknowledge." I said 

"Shut up!" Kami yelled and stepped down on my arm. 

"W-well, what are you going to do about it?" I said in pain, trying to push her over the edge. 

"I'm going to end you right here and now!" Kami shouted and grabbed a kunai out of her pocket. 

"Kami-san don't!" one anbu said 

"Stay out of this!" Kami shouted and I looked at her and closed my eyes. I waited for the impacted to come but, it never did. 

"I thought I told you to stay away from her." An angry male voice said. 

"U-uh, Kakashi-kun...when did you get here?" Kami laughed nervously. I then felt someone crouch down next to me and helped me up. I winced in pain and grabbed my arm. I slowly opened my blurry eyes and saw Kakashi looking down at me. 

"Kakashi, I-" 

"Just be quiet...We are leaving. If I see any of you near her again, I won't hesitate to cut you all down." Kakashi threatened and everyone backed up. The rest of the trip home was quiet, Kakashi held me close to his body and I cried.  We got home and Kakashi layed my down on the bed and went to into the bathroom to grab first aid. 

"Ow." I winched at Kakashi contact.

"W-why did you let her do that?" Kakashi said 

"I-I don't know, I deserve it. I'm a monster." I cried. 

"Y/n, don't do this to me, I can't lose you, like I lost my dad." Kakashi said and cried. 

"W-why, I clearly cause you too much pain, it would be better if I was gone." I said and I felt Kakashi hold me face. 

"Y-y/n, please stop. You cause me pain because I love you. I worry about you all the time and when I see you like this, it breaks my heart. Promise, me...no matter what please don't leave me. I know it's selfish. But, I would break if I would lose another person in my life." Kakashi said and cried on my shoulder. 

"I-i'm sorry...I..."I said while trying to find the words but, my mind went numb. 

"I-I know...Let's just get these wounds cleaned up ok? We should probably get you checked out at the hospital." Kakashi said and kissed my head. 

"I don't want to go there, if Tsunade found out about this. She would kill me herself." I laughed but winced in pain. 

"Ha, right." Kakashi sighed and shook his head. Kakashi continued to clean and wrap my wounds. 

"hmm, why don't I make something to eat and we can just hand out and read together?" Kakashi said and I nodded. 

"Can I have (favorite food)?" I asked and Kakashi nodded. 

For the rest of the evening Kakashi wouldn't leave my side and we both ended up falling asleep in each other's arms.
