After a while, I could hear voices echoing through the compound. Bucky's tearful plea broke through the commotion, "It's our daughter, okay?! We will talk to her!"

Wanda chimed in, "She collapsed in Nat's arms and told us everything. She was running for half an hour without stopping!"

Natasha affirmed, "I'll talk to her."

Tony interjected, "Just chill, she will wake up soon."

As I descended the stairs to face my fathers, I noticed Bucky with tears streaming down his face, and Steve holding him tightly. The other Avengers were also present, witnessing my disheveled state, still clad in my damp clothes.

I approached Nat, intending to seek comfort in her presence. However, Steve grabbed my arm and forcefully pushed me against the wall, his voice filled with rage, "What are you thinking?! Huh?! Talk. To. Us! What are you fucking thinking?!?!"

I flinched as he pressed me harder against the wall, tears streaming down my face. Bucky rushed forward, grabbing Steve and pulling him away from me. I crumbled to the ground, crying, and managed to stammer, "I'm s-s-so sorry."

Bucky helped me to my feet, embracing me tightly. I was still biting the inside of my mouth, causing Bucky's tears to flow even more. He pleaded, "Doll, please stop. I don't want to see you hurt yourself, okay?"

Moved by his genuine concern, I ceased my self-destructive habit and clung to him, finding solace in his arms.

Natasha handed me a fresh outfit, albeit slightly oversized. I retreated to the shower, allowing the warm water to wash away the remnants of my distress. Emerging from the bathroom, I overheard Steve's quiet sobs. I knew he was remorseful for his outburst, so I approached him and nestled against his side. He enveloped me in a tender embrace, and together, we found solace in each other's presence, drifting off to sleep, still entwined.

Sometime later, I stirred from my slumber, hearing voices once again.

Natasha playfully remarked, "Awww, how cute. But you stole my cuddle buddy."

Wanda chimed in, "Wait, what? That's my cuddle buddy!"

Still half-asleep, I mumbled tiredly, "I'm just the cuddle buddy of my dads and just from my dads."

I snuggled closer to Steve, seeking comfort and warmth.

After some time, I drifted back to sleep, only to be awakened an hour later as I felt Steve lifting me up. Letting out a tired yawn, I greeted him, "Hi!"

He chuckled in response, and I fell back asleep, my head resting on his shoulder.

When I regained consciousness, I realized we were downstairs. Bucky remarked, "Our sleeping beauty, huh? She still hasn't woken up?"

Steve shook his head and chuckled.

Rubbing the sleep from my eyes, I declared, "I'm awake now, okay!"

He gently placed me back on the ground, and I asked for the time.

Natasha replied, "It's 2 pm."

At that moment, Peter arrived at the compound and requested Tony's permission for his girlfriend to visit. I couldn't help but chuckle at the revelation that Peter had a girlfriend.

Peter caught sight of me and rolled his eyes. I quipped, "Wow, uhm, your nose looks cute."

Natasha and Wanda burst into laughter, falling to the floor in amusement. Joining their laughter, I saw Peter's intent to approach me, so I swiftly evaded his reach, playfully running around the compound. Peter chased after me as we laughed and exchanged playful banter.

After about ten minutes, Tony's voice boomed, "Peter, stop! Y/N must be scared and tired of you. Go somewhere else, please. We all need to talk here."

Peter protested, "But I'm an Avenger too, so I should be able to join the conversation."

I couldn't resist and quipped, "And who are you? Oh, right, Spiderboy."

Peter's frustration grew, and he grabbed a nearby prop gun, pointing it at me. Unfazed, I calmly stated, "Oh, come on, put it down. Or else you might accidentally shoot yourself."

He attempted to fire, but the gun wasn't loaded. Letting out a sigh, I approached him, took the gun from his hand, and disassembled it effortlessly with one hand, dropping the pieces to the ground.

Natasha erupted in laughter, and I walked over to help her stand up. The tension began to ease as laughter filled the air, dissipating the heaviness that had lingered earlier.

Peter, realizing the futility of his actions, took a step back, defeated by the humorous turn of events. Meanwhile, Wanda, Natasha, and I shared a lighthearted conversation, letting go of the weight that had burdened us.

Twenty minutes later, Peter announced, "Liz is here, guys."

I rolled my eyes, already aware of the history between us. With a mischievous smile, I engaged in conversation with Wanda, paying little attention to the arrival of Peter's girlfriend.

Thor, Bruce, and Tony exchanged pleasantries with Liz, but the others, well-aware of her past actions, distanced themselves. As Wanda, Natasha, and I cast our gaze upon her, we couldn't help but chuckle, a silent understanding passing between us. Liz, feeling uncomfortable, made a hasty retreat, and we resumed our lighthearted conversation.
