Chapter start

Takemichi's pov:

Me and Chifuyu separated from Mitsuya-kun and Hakkai-kun right after we left Hakkai-kun's house. Right now, I'm following wherever Chifuyu leads me.

'Oh, right. I did say to Chifuyu that his future self died trying to avenge Baji-san. But... I forgot to tell him when exactly Baji-san would die!' I suddenly thought in horror. 'Why am I so stupid?!'

"Hey, Chifuyu." I called him. He look back towards me and said, "Huh? What?"

"Do you remember what I told you before?" I started and I saw him nod.

"Yeah. What about it?" He ask.

"Well, ever since I met Hakkai-kun and discovered that he's related to the Black Dragons and got beaten up... and it kinda became the central focus right now but... I kinda forgot to tell you when exactly Baji-san will die..." I finished trailing off at the end as I look at him nervously.

I saw his eyes widen and he immediately said, "What?! Takemitchy you idiot! Why didn't you tell me this sooner?!" He then mess up his hair in slight frustration before looking back at me and ask, "Do you know when... Baji-san would... y'know?", while making hand gestures at the end.

"Mhm." I nodded before I answered, " December 8th, 2005. That's what Naoto told me."

Then I continued, "Right before I went back to this timeline, I received two missions. One, is to save Hina-chan. And Two, is to prevent Baji-san from dying. We believe that if we could save Baji-san from Kisaki then, y/n-san and Mikey-kun wouldn't get into a serious fight, and Toman wouldn't turn evil in the future."

"December 8th... isn't that... like two weeks from now?" Chifuyu pondered for a bit before raising his head in realization.

My eyes widen when I heard those words. "I-...isn't that too soon?!" I panic. 'What shall I do?! At this rate, Baji-san will really die just like what happened in the future!' I thought as I pulled my hair. "Chifuyu!"

"Come on, Takemitchy. We still have some time before that will happen." Chifuyu said as he pat my shoulder. "What we need to do is to make a plan to prevent that from happening." He continued.

"You're right!" I exclaimed.

"I know I'm right!" He boasted. "Right now, Baji-san has no one guarding his room since everyone's been focus on the Black Dragons. Knowing Kisaki, he'll most probably move at this critical time where no one would expect." Chifuyu elaborates.

"Wow! Chifuyu, you're smart for once." I stated in amazement. My eyes are probably shining right now.

"What do you mean "for once"? I'm always smart!" Chifuyu exclaim.

'Yeah... No.' I thought while averting my eyes from him. 'Still wouldn't let you off from your sh*tty Plans earlier.'

"Anyways, Chifuyu. I'm thinking of returning back to the future." I stated.

"Huh? Why?" Chifuyu ask. "Hakkai joined the Black Dragons. And We still haven't done anything to prevent the death of Baji-san. So you haven't achieved anything, right?"
