Chapter Start

3rd pov:

Takemichi returned to the future after shaking the young Naoto's hand. He look around his surroundings and check the date on his phone. 'Last time I was here, I was in prison. But if I'm not in jail now... That means the timeline changed?!' He thought before his expression became happy. 'So... Hina's been saved...?!'

As he was thinking, a woman came towards him from behind and called him. "Hanagaki-kun?" The woman said as Takemichi turn his head behind him uttering a, "Hm?"

"It's been a long time." The woman said.

"...Huh? Who're you?" Takemichi ask.

Then the woman bowed at him as she said, "Thank you very much... for coming here during such a busy time." She then straightened her back before gesturing Takemichi with her arm as she said, "This way, please."

Takemichi haven't had any idea or clue on what's going on. He was lead towards a line as the woman said, "Please wait in this line."

'A funeral?' Takemichi thought. Then he look at what he's wearing while thinking, 'But... Whose funeral? Somebody I know? I'm definitely... dressed in all black...' He then look at the woman  who lead him in the line who sat behind the reception desk and thought, 'That girl... If she's at the reception desk...  then that means she's related to the deceased...'

Takemichi was finally in the front of the line and as soon as he reached there, the girl beside the woman who greeted him earlier spoke. "Thank you for coming to... my brother's... My brother's..!" The girl said as she tried to finish her sentence without crying but failed.

'Brother...? Wait a sec... Feels like... I've seen this girl... before...' He thought.

"Please go inside." The woman from earlier said while motioning Takemichi to her right.

As he was walking away from the two girls, Takemichi heard their conversation. "Keep it together, Mana!" One said as the other replied with, "Sorry, Luna."

Takemichi tried to remember where he'd heard those two names before. Then, his eyes suddenly widen in realization as he hurried inside to confirm his suspicions. 'It can't be.' He thought as he entered.

Then, he saw it. A picture of his friend on top of a casket with candles and flowers surrounding it. 'No...' He thought. 'Mitsuya-kun... Is dead?!!'

He look inside the casket and saw Mitsuya's peacefully resting face. Then, he hurriedly left and aimlessly run on the street as he kept denying what he just saw. 'Can't be. It can't be. There's no reason for Mitsuya-kun... to be dead!!' He thought.

He took out his phone and immediately check the news related to Mitsuya's death. He then search Hinata's name and found an article about her that cause him to tear up. [Hinata Tachibana-san (26) Dies in Car Accident, Motorcycle Gang Suspected / Daily News] It said.

'Hina's dead, too?!! She died the same way again. Not a damn thing has changed!! What the hell's going on?!!' Takemichi thought while still running. Then he tripped on the road and he repeatedly hit the ground while saying, "Damn it!", in hopelessness and frustration before he lifted his head and shouted, "Chifuyuuu!! Naotooo!! Where are you guyyys?!!"
