Song Choice: ABBA - Under Attack

"Hm, it sucks that we missed it. I'm sorry." Five said after they took a quick circle around the mansion to try and catch the remainder of the sun, but the sky was nothing but a darkening blue representing dusk.

"It's ok, there's always tomorrow." (Y/n) said quietly.

"Wait a second." Five muttered to himself as his eyebrows pierced together. He jogged over to the newspaper rack as he looked at the displayed paper through the glass. He hurriedly shuffled his hand around in his pocket and pulled out a coin for the slot. He grabbed a paper and walked back over to (Y/n) who caught up with him, still looking down at the paper.

"No... This can't be." Five said with wide eyes staring at the headline.

"What can't be?" (Y/n) asked as she walked around to look over his shoulder to see the headline he was supposedly shocked about.

"Another school shooting? Ugh, what's new?" (Y/n) said after she read the headline before looking back down to skim through the text. "Oh it was a girl this time? That's rare. That's what can't be? Women can be school shooters too, Five. Come on, it's the 21st century." She said as she gave Five an undaunted glare.

"No, no, not that. I'm not talking about that." Five said as he shook his hand at the girl behind him, eyes still burning into the page. "Well then I'm lost, Five." (Y/n) responded.

Five faced the girl with eyes of horror. "(Y/n)... this is the same headline as the one from the day when I was stuck in the apocalypse."

"I'm still a little lost." (Y/n) said.

"The apocalypse is still happening! We have to go tell-"

Suddenly the deafening sound of intense ripping air, crashing glass, and a deep heavy explosion burst through the air, with repeated 'boom' sounds following like there were multiple blasts back to back. The sound came before the impact though as (Y/n) and Five got pushed back from the strong, attacking gust of wind mixed with dirt and dust.

(Y/n) and Five laid on their sides on the ground as more whips of dust and wind were thrown at them, them both covering their faces and heads for safety. When the sound of violent, intrusive wind slowly slowed down to a halt, both professional killers unveiled their faces. The dust cleared up steadily to present the remains of the Academy nothing but smithereens.

(Y/n) could hear Five's breathing pick up in a much more panicked fashion. He scurried up to his feet and said "Come on!" before running into the destroyed remains with the newspaper still in his hand. (Y/n) hurriedly followed with the weight of a guilty conscience thinking she could have prevented this if she knew about it.

The two of them found the remaining Umbrella family spread out but still together. (Y/n) thanked all the heavens that they were alive.

"Guys!" Five called out, stepping over debris until he finally reached his family. "This is it. The apocalypse is still on. The world ends today." "I thought you said it was over." Luther said as he took a step forward.

"I was wrong, okay?" Five admitted as he held up the newspaper he had clutched in both hands. "This newspaper, I found it in the future the day I got stuck. The headline hasn't changed."

"No, that doesn't mean anything. The time could've been altered since that newspaper came out this morning." Diego said from the ground.

"You're not listening to me. When I found it, I assumed this place came down along with everything else. But here we are. The Moon's still shining, the Earth is in one piece, but not the Academy."

Klaus snatched the paper from Five's hands and flipped through the pages. "I'm confused."

"Then listen to me, you idiot! Vanya destroys the Academy before the apocalypse. I thought Harold Jenkins was the cause, but he was the fuse. Vanya is the bomb. Vanya causes the apocalypse."

Everyone went silent, (Y/n) included, until the rising sound of sirens and helicopter blades.

"We have to find her." Luther said quietly before Diego yelled out when the noises got close enough and lights were shown done on them. "We gotta go, now!"

"Regroup at the Super Star. Go!" Luther ordered then everyone scattered like mice and Five grabbed (Y/n)'s arm to spacial jump through his blue light.

Pins crashed together and on the lane was heard in the background but (Y/n)'s heart was beating too loud for her to hear the background noise. Her right leg bounced up and down very quickly in an anxious manner as her eyes studied the clock, almost counting the seconds like she was trying to properly time something in her head.

The pressure was on.

"Look, I hate to be the one to say this, but everyone needs to prepare." Luther said as (Y/n) tried to steady herself by untying and retying her bowling shoe laces.

"For what?"
"To do whatever it takes to stop Vanya."

Allison hit Luther in the chest with her notepad. "I..." Luther sighed in slight aggravation and exhaustion. "We may not have a choice, Allison."

"Bullshit. There's always options." Diego said from his chair.

"Yeah, like what?" Five snapped, siding with Luther.

"I don't know."
"Look, whatever we decide, we need to find Vanya. And fast, okay? She could be anywhere."

"Or... here." Klaus said, looking through the newspaper Five showed them earlier. "Look at this."

Everyone crowded around to see a small section dedicated to Vanya's spot in the recital. "That's right. Her concert is tonight." Diego mentioned.

"Hello." An employee said as she reached the group. "I hate to intrude, but my manager says if you're not gonna bowl, you gotta leave."

Everyone looked over to the man in the back who slammed bowling shoes on the counter, glaring at them all.

"Whose turn is it?" Diego asked. "Oh, for..." Luther gripped a bowling ball from their rack and whipped it on the lanes, not even turning to see where it ended up.

Allison then showed her notepad to Luther. "We're the only ones capable of stopping this. We have a responsibility to Dad." Luther answered which only resulted in Diego yelling, "To Dad?! No, I've heard enough about..." Luther interrupted. "He sacrificed everything to bring us back together."

"I'm with Luther on this one. We can't give her a chance to fight back. There are billions of lives at stake. We're past trying to save just one." Five said before turning over to (Y/n) to get her thoughts. Too physically unstable to give proper thoughts with her brain filled with another worry, she only nodded in agreement.

Five raised a brow at her trembling, shaky, sweaty form and opened his mouth to ask if she was ok or had anything troubling her, since she looked nauseous and he could hear her shortness of breath, but Klaus already started speaking meekly.

"Hey, you know, guys, uh... maybe I could help."

Everyone immediately shifted to annoyance which briefly bothered (Y/n). She always tried to remain unbiased in family drama but Klaus had a very incredible power and none of them ever seemed to really care, most likely because he was a junkie and never seemed to be the most reliable constantly.

"Now is not the time."
"No, let him finish. He saved my life today."
"Is that true?"

"Yeah, yeah, I did... take credit for it. In fact, the real hero... was Ben."
