PART 69

This is the aesthetic for the school just so you can get a feel for it :)

I sit in a taxi about 20 minutes later and stare out the window, I watch as the rain drizzles down the glass as we drive further into the countryside.

Jaden grabs onto my hand and squeezes it reassuringly as we pull up to to a large black ivory gate.

"I swear to god people get murdered here." I say as i look out to the window at the large brick buildings.

"It's kinda pretty." Jaden says as he opens the door and starts to climb out of the car, i follow after him and look around.

I walk around to the back of the car and pull my bags out of the trunk, Jaden grabs 2 of them and i watch as the taxi slowly pulls away.

I start walking towards the front entrance, which was on the other side of the large courtyard. "I could always just go to jail for a year, maybe a lifetime if they find out about the murders, but at least i won't have to be here." I say as i stop walking.

"Lydia, you're going to school. You're going to be fine." Jaden says as he starts pushing me forwards.

I groan before pushing open the large black doors of the front entrance to the school, I grab onto Jadens hand as i watch various students pass back and forth down the long hallways.

There was a large wooden sign pointing towards the headmasters office, Jaden and i start walking in the direction of the office and i nearly run into a few people that were rushing off in the other direction.

I push open the door reading, headmaster and walk into the office, Jaden follows after me and we stop walking when we notice an older looking man sitting in front of a tall guy with dirty blonde hair.

"There is a rule for knocking." The man says in a thick british accent, "You do know this it isn't the eighteen hundreds right?" I ask as i shut the door behind me, causing the blonde boy to chuckle.

"Leave us please, no leaving your dorm after 9." The man says to the blonde boy, he stands up and walks past us, leaving the room.

"And who might you be?" The headmaster asks, "Uh, Lydia Hall." I say as i look at him.

"No, I know who you are, who's your friend." He asks as he looks at Jaden.

"Oh this is Jaden." I say.

"Visiting days are on Sundays." He says as he starts scribbling something down on a piece of paper.

"He's only staying until i'm settled in, um- What's your name?" I ask.

"Headmaster Ronalds." He says and i raise an eyebrow, "Alright, i'm gonna call you Ronald."

He sighs before handing me a stack of papers, "Here's your dorm assignment, No boys in the dormitory after 10, breakfast is served from 6-7:30 and your first class starts at 8, You won't be starting your classes until monday so that gives you plenty of time to speak to the guidance counselor about your class choices, you're allowed to leave the campus but curfew is at 10, if you're back any later you'll receive detention, no drinking, smoking, or drugs of any kind are permitted unless you have a doctors note for certain medications." He says as i take the papers.

"Yeah, not sure i'll remember all of that Ronald." I say as i look at him.

"It's all on the papers, girls dormitories are on the fourth floor, head down the hall to the right, you'll see the main staircase then just head upstairs." He says.

"Alright we're off." I say as i grab onto Jadens hand, "He leaves by 10." Ronalds calls out as we walk out of the room.
