We need a puppy siter

The got back to Dixies apartment and she seemed to be rushing right back out the door.

"Where are you going?" Noah asked as Cali curled up in Dixies bed.

"I'll be back in 30."

"That's not an answer."

"Please Noah, I really need to go."

"I'll come with you."

Dixie was about to continue but thought about what he just said and compromised.

"Is Mads busy?"

"I don't think so let me call."

He got off the phone with Mads who was coming over to watch their puppy.

She knocked once, walked in and the couple ran for the door.

"Thanks Mads we love you." They chanted.

"Wait so where are we going?"

"You'll see."

They walked into Charly's office and she greeted Dixie with a hug.

"I missed you." She said embracing her tighter.

"I'm starting to feel like I'm the only one who comes here."

"Don't get cocky-." She stopped herself as she spotted Noah and than back to Dixie give her a "look".

"I'm going to assume your Noah."

"Yea I am." He said putting out him hand.

"Nice to meet you."

"You too." She said meeting his hand.

"Are you joining us today?" She asked looking at Noah.

"I guess I am."

Charly smiled and they walked into the room.

They both sat down on the couch and Charly started.

"How have you too been?"

"We're good now." Dixie said looking at Noah for confirmation.

"Yea, everything's great now."

"Why now?"

"Well we broke up." Noah said.

"Is that so."

Dixie put two fingers to the bridge of her nose. She didn't want to talk about Griffin with Noah around. She didn't want to spark certain emotions.

"Yea, but we talked it out and we're fine now."

"Who initiated the break up."

Charly was trying to get Dixie to look up.

"Noah did." She said quietly.

"And why did he do that?"

"I... um.. I kissed." She stopped herself and Noah looked over at her.

It didn't bother him, not like it should. He knew she loved him and talking is good for mental health.

"It's okay Dixie." He whispered.

"I'm over it."

She looked up at him. Than at Charly.

"I kissed my ex-husband, we broke up and than got back together."

"Noah." Charly started.

"Why did you feel like getting back together with Dixie was the best move?"

"My sister help me come to a realization."

"And what realization is that?"

"Just that I was being a hypocrite, breaking up with the girl I love."

"Dixie are you happy with the place your in?"

"Yes, I am."

"Noah?"

"Most definitely."

"You too are strong, together and apart, I hope this brings you closer together in the end.

"I hope so too." Dixie said.
