She's a stressed and struggling student in Osaka, living alone and barely managing to pay off her debts to keep herself off the streets. But an encounter with her used-to-be favourite utaite, Mafumafu, might change all of that!
Pulling away from Mafumafu's chest, I sit up and look at him, flustered.
What the hell did he just say...?
"I-I've liked you ever since we met," Mafumafu's cheeks are heavily tinted pink, and his violet eyes are averting downwards, "So please..."
He puts his hand on mine, head jerking up to look at me.
"Please accept my feelings!"
"I...." I hesitate, lost for words. It feels like me and Mafumafu are the only people in the room. My heart is beating rapidly, as my body tingles. I don't deserve his confession, not after all I've got him into.
I have to refuse him.
"I can't... No one's ever confessed to me before," I start in a hoarse, trembling whisper, "If I accept you... I'll just mess up things even more, your career will be completely over, Mafumafu!"
But he gives me a determined look.
"I don't care what happens to me!" Mafumafu protests, putting a hand to his chest, "I...I just want to be with you, ###-chan! I love you!"

A tear rolls down my cheek, before developing into full on sobbing. Mafumafu puts his arms around me; enveloping me into a tight embrace.
"I love you too, Mafumafu," I weep into his chest, "So, so, much."
He smiles and caresses my hair.
"Yeah, me too."
Now, as the two of us lie in bed together, I look over at Mafumafu.
"Hey...." I say softly, "You'll stay with me forever, right?"
Mafumafu looks surprised, but he smiles again, reaching over to hold my hand.
