"###-chan! ###-chan!"
Mafumafu shakes me rapidly, trying to get my attention. Annoyed, I finally turn around in my chair to face it. "What is it?! I protest to him. "Soraru-san, it's his birthday today!", Mafumafu exclaims.
"Eh?!" I respond, surprised. Another birthday, so soon? Well, it can't be helped. Just then, just as we're wondering what to get him, we hear someone clear their throat from the door. Looking in that direction, we see Soraru standing there. "S-Soraru-san!" Mafumafu stutters. Ignoring his frantic babbling, Soraru walks forward, sits down on my bed, and hugs the both of us warmly.
"You guys don't need to get me anything", Soraru whispers to us softly. "The two of you being here is enough." Touched, me and Mafumafu hug him back.
Embracing ###-chan and Mafu-kun tightly, I smile into the hug. They're so nice to try get something for my birthday. Honestly, I don't want a present at all. Not even a day out.
Because the three of us being here, in this moment, is enough.
