Only Time Will Tell

Breakfast in bed

The next morning...

Doug wakes up about 6:30 and he looked and Kamala was still sound asleep, so he decided since she didn't sleep well last night that he was going to make her breakfast in bed. He quietly gets out of bed so he won't wake Kamala up.

15 minutes later he comes in their room and he sees Kamala sitting up in bed. "Good Morning Honey" and he puts the tray down on their dresser and goes over to their bed and gives her a kiss.

Kamala- "what's all this?, help me up I have to pee and I really don't want to pee in bed"

Doug helps her up and she goes pee. Kamala comes back a few minutes later. "Kamryn's up, and it's time for soccer"

Doug- "I know you couldn't get comfortable last night and you were up most of the night, so I decided to make you breakfast in bed, I made you your favorite French toast with cut up strawberries"

Kamala- "Aww Dougie, thank you, your the best hubby ever"

Kamala is in tears

Doug gets into bed and puts his arms around her to comfort her and he dries her tears. "Don't cry"

Kamala- "I'm trying not to, my hormones are all messed up, I need sleep, I'm so tired, I want sleep, but I can't get comfortable enough"

Doug- "I heard you talking to Maya about a pregnancy pillow, eat your breakfast while it's warm, and hopefully you can get comfortable to get more sleep"

Kamala- "Yeah, it might help, I mean we did try doing it but it didn't help my sleep issue, it just woke Kamryn up, and she decided to play soccer for almost 2 hours then I think she tired herself out, I finally fell asleep at 2:30 till 3:45 when I woke up because I had to pee, then I couldn't get comfortable again,
which is when I woke you up and we did it again, usually it helps me fall back asleep, but not this time"

Doug- "Which is why I asked Maya to go and get one for you"

Kamala- "aww Dougie thank you. Meena's right, you have to pee mine more once Kamryn started to kick, help me up please"

Doug helps her up and she comes back a few minutes later.  "Aww I'm sorry babe, Maya coming at lunch time with your pillow"

Doug brings over the tray with breakfast he made. I made your favorite French toast with cut up strawberries and powdered sugar"

Kamala gasps "Dougie my favorite."

Doug gets in bed beside her. "Favorite breakfast for my favorite woman."

Kamala- "Dougie you're making me blush, your French toast is the best, and Kamryn likes it too, she's kicking, usually she waits until after I'm done eating to kick, like in the middle of the night last night, I was up after I had my brownies, Kamryn was kicking, then then I up at was at 4:30 because I had to pee, and I was hungry, so we had another brownie, and then we came back to bed, but only one of us was able to fall back asleep"

Doug- "aww baby I'm sorry, you should have woke me up at 4:30 and I would have held you and stayed awake with you, promise me that when you can't sleep you wake me and I will be up and hold you and that also goes for when Kamryn's born I want to be up with you when she gets up"

Kamala starts crying "Of course baby, I promise." She wraps her arms around him.

Doug- "thank you"

Kamala- "Dougie, I've been thinking and I want to Kamryn to be on my milk only... I will get a pump once she starts teething and she bites me, that's what Meena did with Amara and that's how she's feeding Leela, and Jen nursing Mia, and my milk is really the best food for Kamryn"

Doug- "Baby I agree 100%. Of course your milk will be best for her. I support any decision you make about feeding because they are your breasts and I want you to be comfortable."

Kamala- "Thank you"

Doug- "I know I won't be able to fee Kamryn at 1st but I would like to be the 1st person to give her bottle when you start pumping your milk to feed her"

Kamala smiles "And I want you to be the first to feed her her first bottle of breastmilk, Meena said that I shouldn't even be in the room when you feed her bottle because then she will want to nurse, so I will either be outside or over at Jen's since she lives next door, incase you need me, I'm not sure how Kamryn's going to react to her bottle at first"

Doug- "that sounds good, hopefully she will like it, because I want to feed her, but I know how important nursing is for you, presses his forehead against hers and smirks having a dirty thought "Would you also let me be the first grown man to taste your breastmilk?"

Kamala- "yes when I start pumping, I will pump some into her bottle, and then you can pour it into a cup and drink it"

Doug shakes his head no then whispers against her ear "If you are comfortable with it when we can have sex after Kamryn is born I want to suck on your perfect nipple until I taste the sweet nectar that will be nurturing our baby."

Kamala- "yes that would be be alright but you know after Kamryn's born we gotta wait at least 6 weeks or until I'm all healed, before we do, I know it will be very easy for me to get pregnant again so I will ask when I can go back on birth control and what kind I can take once Kamryn's born and I start nursing"

Doug- "I know baby and when we do I promise, you can be in control. I wouldn't want to hurt you"

Kamala- "thanks, I know for sure I want you in the delivery room and mommy, Meena, and Maya, I dunno how many people are allowed but I want those people for sure"

Doug- "I think I read that you can have as many as you want, but also we have to find out  what the hospital's rules are on that"

Kamala- "if that's the case then if you want your parents to be in the delivery room they can but they gotta stay near my head I don't want everyone seeing everything I own"

Doug laughs. "Okay, makes sense, if my parents are allowed to be in the delivery room, let's surprise them, and tell them then that they can watch Kamryn being born"

Kamala- "I like that, that's for you to tell them, I was there when Meena had both Leela and Amara, and I watched them both being born"

Doug gives Kamala a kiss
