Talk with Maya

Doug- "aww okay baby, you definitely need it, I will be back, what are you making for lunch for you and Maya"

Kamala- "I made pasta salad earlier, so we are going to have that, we don't have anything else, the grocery list is on the fridge"

Doug- "okay, Kamryn looks so adorable on your shoulder sound asleep I see Maya here's. I will be back, I love you gives Kamala a kiss"

Kamala- "I love you too" and she gives Doug a kiss

Maya- "Hey Doug, are you going to have lunch with us"

Doug- "Hey Maya no, I'm going grocery shopping"

Doug leaves.

Kamala- "Kamryn, I know you love sleeping on Momala's shoulder, but I'm going to have lunch with Auntie Maya, you are going to go in your bassinet"

Kamala and Maya then go and sit at the table in the kitchen.

Maya- "what are we having for lunch"

Kamala- "I made pasta salad and garlic bread, and I wanted to ask you something, and I wanted it to be us here when I ask you"

Maya- "what do you want to ask me, you know you can ask me anything, I know I'm your little sister"

Kamala- "I know"
Kamala seems nervous but eventually blurts out "I'm ready to have sex
with my husband again!"

Maya- "from what you just said I'm going to say that you are all healed and you got cleared by Dr. Grey"

Kamala- "yes I did, and I would like you to babysit tomorrow for a few hours"

Maya- "yes of course I will babysit, I will take Kamryn to my house, that way you won't wake Kamryn up, she doesn't need to hear you, and Doug"

Kamala- "thanks Maya, you're the best!"

Maya- "anytime, you and Mommy were there when I needed you when Meena was little, even though you were in law school, you still helped, and now it's my turn to help you, what did you decide about birth control"

Kamala- "I'm on the birth control shot, and Dr. Grey said it would take a week before it would be fully effective, and I feel I'm ready now, I miss Dougie, but I wouldn't have changed anything these last 10 and half months though, I love Kamryn very much, and being Momala is the best feeling ever!"

Maya- "You're really good with kids, so I knew when you and Doug had kids you would be an awesome Mom, have you noticed any new things that Kamryn is doing"

Kamala- "yes, she's smiling now, and she's holding her head up with support when we are holding her, and she's starting to coo and gurgle, she's trying to talk, and she's latching on better, and she defiantly tells us when she's hungry, when she hears me or Dougie, or Mommy walk in the room she smiles"

Maya- "I hear Kamryn, she's trying to talk"

Kamala- "yes, she's cooing, she been doing that the last few days, she loves to be swaddled in a blanket, she doesn't like diaper changes because she gets cold, she's getting better though, it's been warmer lately so that helps, she loves to hold her toy keys, even though she drops them a few minutes later"

Maya- "can I pick her up, I need cuddles, and right now I don't have to share because Mommy's working"

Kamala- "yes as long as she's not sleeping, you know and I know from babysitting you don't wake up a sleeping baby"

Maya- "that's right"

Kamala- "I'm going to put the dishes from lunch in the dish washer, but not start it yet, I learned the hard way a few days ago, that when Kamryn's in the family room with us and the dish washer is running, and she's sleeping, it wakes her up, and it took me almost an hour to comfort her"

Maya gets up from the table and walks over to the bassinet, and she picks Kamryn up, "did you have a good nap Kamryn, I will get you your rattle, I know it's your favorite"

Kamala comes over to the couch where Kamryn and Maya are sitting, and she smiles when she sees Kamala come and sit on the couch next to her. "Sis, I think Kamryn looks so much like you, I see a little bit of Doug"

Kamala- "thank you, she does, but I also see Dougie"
