Kamala- "I know, she called me already to see how I was feeling, and Dougie, your turn to burp Kamryn and change her"
Kamala gives Kamryn to Doug and he burps her, a few minutes later Kamryn burps, and changes her diaper, Doug gives Kamryn Maya to hold.
Maya- "yes I will, Kamryn, you're so adorable in your outfit, and I see you have your chucks on"
Kamala- "yes she does, her 1st pair, but definitely not her last pair"
~11:00 am~
Christina comes into Kamala's room with her release papers and general papers with newborn safety and papers for Kamala as well, as well as a "I need you to sign the release papers, I signed them as well, there is one more thing we have to do before you get to go home"
Kamala- "what's that?"
Christina- "take off the security alarm that is on Kamryn's ankle, and your wrist and I need you to take off Kamryn's pants and unsnap her onesie so I can get off clamp that in her her umbilical cord as well for you to sign the release papers for you and Kamryn"
Kamala- "that would be good, and yes I will sign them, Kamryn needs to be changed anyways"
Maya- "Kamryn, we need to get your diaper changed, Auntie's hand is warm, Christina is good timing, I know she did something because my hand is warm"
Maya lays Kamryn down on the bed and takes off her pants so she can change her diaper, and Christina takes off the security alarm off Kamryn's ankle and also takes off the clamp that was on her cord. Maya changes her diaper, and cleans her, and yes she did pee and puts on a dry diaper, and then she snaps up her onesie, and puts her pants back on, and Christina takes off the security alarm that is on Kamala's arm as well as Doug's arm, Maya puts on Kamryn's chucks back on.
Christina- "Kamala, when you or Doug change Kamryn's diaper, make sure her cord is stays clean, you clean it with a wet cotton swab twice a day, and Kamryn will need a sponge bath, every 2-3 days, and make sure her cord stays dry, and it will fall off in 10-14 days"
Kamala- "ok"
Kamala signs her release papers, and Kamryn's release papers.
Kamala- "Christina, I signed all of the papers that you had highlighted"
Christina- "thank you, I have to sign them as well, and here's your copy of them you have all of the her papers, and her birth certificate will come in the mail to you with in 20 days, this birth certificate is just a souvenir one, We give it to all new parents. I know you want to hold Kamryn, but our rules are is she has to be wheeled out in her bassinet/cart and you have to be in a wheel chair, where is Kamryn's car seat"
Kamala- "all of my stuff packed up in my bag, and Kamryn's diaper bag is also all packed, do you need Doug to bring it, it's all installed in the backseat of my jeep"
Christina gives Kamala the folder and Kamala opens it and sees a sheet of paper with Kamryn's foot prints on it.

Christina- "your welcome, all we have up here is pink or blue paper, no, I will see it when we get downstairs"
