Maya- "ok"
Kamala looks and Kamryn is sound asleep and unlatched "Dougie, I need a burp cloth please" Kamala snaps her tank top.
Doug hands her a burp cloth, "let me burp and change her, you look like your ready for a nap"
Kamala yawns
Kamala- "I am ready for a nap, here's Kamryn"
Doug puts the burp cloth on his shoulder, and rubs her back and a few minutes later Kamryn burps. "That was a good burp Kamryn"
Doug lays Kamryn down on the changing pad and he unsnaps her pj's and takes her legs out and then he unsnaps her pj's and Kamryn is not happy and she lets her daddy know, then he unsnaps her onesie and changes her diaper. "Kamryn, I know you don't like getting your diaper changed, but your all wet, and that don't feel good." Doug cleans her with a baby wipe, and puts on a clean diaper, then he snaps her onesie and puts her legs back into her pj's and snaps them, he washes his hands with the baby wipes and he puts the dirty diaper in the diaper genie.
Doug picks her up and has a blanket on his shoulder, and lays Kamryn on his shoulder, she puts her thumb in her mouth.
Meena comes back in the family room a few minutes later. "Auntie, the 1st load is in the wash, do you want me to change your sheets too on your bed, do you want the potty pad put back on your side of bed"
Kamala yawns "yes please do that now, so I can go and take a nap, yes please"
Meena- "okay, I will be right back"
Doug- "Honey, is it more comfortable for you to lay on the couch for your nap"
Kamala- "I'm not sure, let me try in my spot and I will lay on your lap like I always do when I'm on the couch, if I can't get comfortable, then I will go to bed, once Meena is done changing the sheets"
Doug- "okay, Kamryn is sleeping on my shoulder, this way I get to hold both of my girls"
Kamala lays down on the couch and she's laying in Doug's lap and as soon as she lays down she's sound asleep.
Shamalya comes in a few minutes later with Leela. "Doug, she's sound asleep?"
Shamalya- "I see that, I won't wake her up, I wanted to know how she's doing"
Doug- "she's doing ok, we were both up every 2-3 hours"
Shamalya- "ok, I'm going to make you both lunch and dinner, while Leela is playing with her toys, is the baby gate up so she can't leave this room"
Doug- "not yet, it's in the closet, but you can get out the play yard pen out of the sun room and Leela can play in there if your going to be in the kitchen, I would get it, but I can't get up at the moment"
Shamalya- "ok, I will get that, can watch Leela"
Doug- "yes"
Shamalya gets the play yard out of the sunroom, and she puts her blanket and a few toys in there for her.
