Only Time Will Tell

Kamryn's 1 month checkup part 2

I would like to thank KamalalovezDoug for her help with writing this

Kamala- "she wasn't asleep long, she started crying 15 minutes later, I got up and I got her, and I came back to bed, and she was trying to nurse before I could unsnap my tank top, she was hungry, and it was an hour since she had milk, I had to tell her, let mommy unsnap then you can have all of the milk you want, and she nursed for 45 minutes, as long as she's healthy and gaining weight she can be our little piglet"

Doug- "your right, as long as she's healthy and she's growing she can be our little piglet, she did nurse longer which is more then she usually nurses for"

Kamala-  "she tried to nurse on my pj top before I could even unsnap the strap, all day yesterday she was fussy, when you were grocery shopping, and Maya was here while I took a shower, she said Kamryn was not happy, she was trying to comfort her, she tried her pacifier, walking with her, her swing, I was getting out of the shower and I heard Kamryn crying, and Maya talking to her, when I came into the family room Kamryn smiled when I came and sat in my recliner. Maya was holding her on the couch"

Doug- "when I got back from grocery shopping, Kamryn was having her milk, you said she just smiled"

Kamala- "she did, can you please make breakfast, after Kamryn's done with breakfast, I'm going to take a shower, and then get dressed, we have to leave at 8:30 for her well baby visit"

Doug- "what would you like for breakfast, which coffee do you want"

Kamala looks at the clock and it says 7:15 bagel with strawberry cream cheese, chocolate covered strawberry coffee, with fruit"

Doug- "okay, I will go and put 2 bagels in the toaster, and make coffee, then I will pack Kamryn's diaper bag"

Kamala- "thanks Babe" she gives Doug a kiss

Kamala looks and Kamryn has unlatched, she snaps her tank top, and she puts the burp cloth on her shoulder, and she lays Kamryn on her shoulder and rubs her back and Kamryn burps a few minutes later she also spits up a little bit. Kamala wipes Kamryn's mouth with the other side of the burp cloth. "Today we have your one month well baby visit, and we will get to see how much you weigh"

Kamala gets up from the bed and her and Kamryn go into Kamryn's room so she can get her dressed and change her diaper.

Kamala lays Kamryn down on her changing table, "Kamryn today, we are going to wear your Minnie outfit with the strawberries, and then you are going to go in your swing, while Mommy and Daddy eat breakfast, and then we are going to your checkup"

Kamala gets Kamryn's outfit out of her dresser, and she lays it on her changing table, and she changes Kamryn's diaper, she cleans her with the baby wipes, and then she puts on her clean diaper, and puts the dirty diaper in the diaper genie, she washes her hands with the baby wipes.

Doug comes into Kamryn's room a few minutes later. "Babe, your bagel is ready, along with your fruit, do you want me to get Kamryn dressed, so you can get dressed, and then we can have breakfast"

Kamala- "yes please, and thank you, I'm going to get dressed myself, then I will come in the kitchen, did you put my vitamins on the table too, I gotta take them, her outfit she's wearing today is on her changing table, I just changed her diaper, and washed my hands"

Doug- "I did, they are next to your cup of coffee, and cup of almond milk, is Kamryn going to wear her chucks or just her socks"

Kamala- "just her socks, since they match her outfit" thanks, I will be in the kitchen in a few minutes" she gives Doug a kiss as she leaves Kamryn's room, Love you"

Doug- "I love you too" gives Kamala a kiss.

Doug is getting Kamryn dressed, he puts on her onesie and then he tickles her toes, and she smiles. "There's my little girl's smile, Mommy said you learned how to do this yesterday while I was shopping, let's get your pants on, and then your socks, and we will go in the kitchen, and you will go in your swing, while Mommy & Daddy have breakfast."

Doug picks Kamryn up from the changing table and they go into the kitchen, Doug puts Kamryn in her swing and he turns it on.

Kamala comes into the family room a few minutes later...

Doug- "you look adorable"

Kamala- "thanks, I see Kamryn's in her swing"

Doug- "she is, are you ready for breakfast"

Kamala- "I am"
