Only Time Will Tell

Kamala's checkup part 2

I would like to thank KamalalovezDoug 4 her help with writing this

Kamala yells from the family room. "Dougie, I'm in the family room in my recliner I have my pillow on my tummy"

Doug- "we are coming, Kamryn, I know you want your milk, we have to go and see Mommy, Daddy doesn't have milk, only Mommy does"

Kamryn starts crying

Doug and Kamryn come into the family room, and he gives Kamryn to Kamala.

Kamala- "Kamryn I'm right here, I know your hungry, let Mommy unsnap her tank top so you can have your milk"

Kamala lays Kamryn on her pillow and she unsnaps her tank top and Kamryn latches on and starts nursing. "Much better, I was hoping she was going to want to eat before we left, can you please go and get my Giants jacket from our closet, I want to bring that with us"

Doug- "of course, and Maya's here"

Maya comes into the family room, "Hey sis, Kamryn, we are going to have fun today, while Auntie's babysitting"

Kamala- "Hey Maya, thank you for babysitting"

Maya- "you're welcome, and this time I don't have to share Kamryn"

Kamala- "no you don't, Dougie and I will be home right after my checkup"

Maya- "did Kamryn have tummy time yet"

Kamala- "not yet, I was getting ready to when she decided she was hungry, which I was hoping she would be before we left for my checkup, I was full and starting to hurt, when I heard her crying, while Dougie was changing her diaper and he was going to get her dressed, but it's going to be too hot to take her out, and your not going anywhere with her are you?"

Maya- "no, even though I have a carseat for her in my jeep I'm not going anywhere unless you need something while your at your checkup, I was going to do tummy time with her"

Kamala- "no, we don't and it's really sticky out already, I was out for a few minutes before you came to bring in the newspaper, and I don't want to take Kamryn out from the air conditioning, Dougie put on her pj's which are long sleeves because we have the fans on"

Maya- "it is sticky out, I was only out to come over here thank goodness we live 5 houses away"

Kamala looks and she sees that Kamryn has unlatched, "Auntie's going to burp you, while Mommy goes potty, and finishes getting ready for her checkup"

Kamala snaps her tank top and she gives Kamryn to Maya along with he burp cloth. "here's Kamryn"

Maya puts the burp cloth on her shoulder, and she lays Kamryn on her shoulder and she rubs her back, and a few minutes later Kamryn burps and she spits up a little bit on the burp cloth "that was a good burp Kamryn"

Kamryn yawns

Doug comes back a few minutes later with Kamala's jacket, while Kamryn is laying on Maya's shoulder. "Honey, here's your jacket"

Kamala- "thanks, Maya, we will be back after my checkup, Kamryn be good for Auntie Maya"

Doug- "Honey, you look adorable as always"

Maya- "she will we are going to do tummy time in about 15 minutes"

Kamala's outfit she's wearing

Doug is wearing a light blue button down shirt with jeans and sneakers.

Kamala and Doug leave.

~At Kamala's doctor's office~

Kamala and Doug were seated in the waiting room.  Kaylee comes to get them and takes them to an exam room and lets Kamala change into a gown.

A couple of minutes later Dr Grey walks in. "Hello Kamala, Doug it's nice to see you again. Are you ready to begin?" She asks.

Kamala nods "Yes."

"Alrighty I'm going to begin with the physical examination. Is that alright?" Dr Grey asks.

"Yes of course" Kamala replies as Doug stands by her side.
