Nap time part 2

45 minutes later...

Maya comes into the family room, and she sees Doug is watching sports center, Kamryn is sound asleep in her bassinet, and Kamala sound asleep on Doug's lap.

Doug- "Hey Maya, I would get up to help you bring the stuff in but I have my adorable wife napping on my lap, she's exhausted"

Maya- "Doug it's okay, let her sleep, I remember when Meena was a newborn, I barely got any sleep, either did Tony, Kam was in law school, and she was helping me along with Mommy, now that she has a  newborn, it's my turn to help her"

Doug- "thank you, how much do I owe you"

Maya- "$30"

Doug- "can I have my phone I will use apple pay to pay you"

Maya gives Doug his phone so he can pay her for the diapers, wipes, and Kamryn's prescription.

Maya- "thank you, I will make dinner for both of you, does Mommy know about Kamryn's diaper rash, I don't know, I didn't tell her, it's not for me to tell her"

10 minutes later...

Doug looks and he sees Kamala is starting to wake up, "how was your nap honey"

Kamala yawns "short, can you help me up"

Doug gives Kamala his hand and he helps her sit up. "Thank you Maya for going to Target for Kamryn"

Maya- "you're welcome, you did it for me when Meena was a newborn and she had her 1st diaper rash"

Kamala- "and no Mommy doesn't know yet, I didn't want to call her at work and have her worry, you know she would"

Maya- "you're right she would, she did call me and she said she called you but got your voicemail"

Kamala- "I haven't looked at my phone, can I have it, I was trying to calm Kamryn down after she had her lunch, and I had mine"

Maya- "where is your phone"
Kamala- "In my purse, next to the diaper bag"

Maya gets up to get Kamala her phone

Kamala looks at her phone and she has 3 missed calls from her mom, "Mommy should have called Doug"

Doug- "she did, I told her you were napping, and you would call her, and Kamryn's check up was good, I didn't tell her about her diaper rash, because I didn't want her to worry"

Kamala- "Dougie, you can tell her, we are a team when it comes to Kamryn"
