Only Time Will Tell

Baby Shower part 4 - 🎁

I would like to thank KamalalovezDoug 4 her help with writing this

Kamala- "Maya I love the cake, it looks my bump and you even added Kamryn's foot and speaking of Kamryn she's kicking, and the cookies they look so good, those took you a long time to make"

Maya- "I didn't make them, Jill did, I made the cake"

Jill- "Kamala, I made the the cookies, they really didn't take that long, once I saw the video on YouTube, Meena helped, so we got them done faster"

Meena- "Auntie, it was fun decorating the cookies"

Kamala- "Dougie get a picture of the cake before we cut it"

Doug- "okay, go and stand next to the cake so I can you in the picture as well"

Kamala does what Doug asks and then he cuts her a piece of cake, which piece do you want?

Kamala- "the bottom with all of the frosting"

Doug cuts Kamala a piece of cake and cuts himself a piece and then Maya cuts the rest for everyone else"

45 minutes later... Kamala and Doug open all of the presents 🎁

Kamala- "Dougie, can you please bring the presents in the family room, so I can sit in my recliner and open them, my back is hurting and sitting in my recliner is more comfortable at the moment"

Doug- "of course"

Maya- "I will help as well"

Doug, and Maya bring all of the presents into the family room and put them next to Kamala's recliner.

Kamala sits in her recliner

Kamala and Doug got a car seat, stroller, diaper genie, diapers, wipes, clothes, receiving blankets, diaper bag, baby bath tub, monitor and more.

Some of the presents 🎁 they got

Kamala- "Jen, I love the diaper bag, I know it's from you"

Jen- "It does, when I saw it, online, I had to order it for you"

Kamala- "I love it, thank you"

Doug- "Honey, there are 2 presents that we didn't open yet, but I need you to follow me inside to see what they are"

Kamala- "help me up"

Kamala then follows Doug inside "Honey, what is this present, we opened all of them"

Doug- "we didn't open these, they are in the nursery, and in our room"

Kamala and Doug then go into the nursery and see that the crib is all put together. "Dougie, when did the crib get put together and the rest of the furniture"

Doug- "yesterday while you were at Chilis for lunch with Jen and Meena, Dad and I were putting it together to surprise you at the shower"

Kamala- "I am surprised, and I love it, and I love you" gives Doug a kiss

Kamala and Doug then go into their room, and she sees a rocking chair with a foot rest in the corner.

Kamala- "Dougie..... is this from you?

Doug- "yes, Babe, it is, I know how much we will both be up at night and I heard you talking with Meena, that she said it would be more comfortable for you to nurse Kamryn in a rocking chair like she has and it has the matching foot rest,  I went and bought you the same one"

Kamala- "Dougie.... I love it, thank you!, when we go back into the family room I have to tell your dad thank you"

Kamala and Doug go back into the family room.

Jill- "I'm guessing by all of the presents, the theme of Kamryn's room is going to be Minnie"

Kamala- "Yes it is, and Mike thank you so much for helping Dougie put together all of the furniture for Kamryn"

Mike- "your welcome"

Kamala- "her room is going to be painted light purple, with shades of pink.  "Thank you everyone for all of the presents we got for Kamryn, she's loved by so many people and she's not even born yet, and Kamryn says thank you as well, she's kicking at the moment"

Everyone leaves.

Kamala and Doug are in Kamryn's room... looking at all of the gifts they got.

Kamala- "Dougie, I think its everything that we registered for and more, she has so many clothes, and look at these shoes, they are so tiny, especially her chucks, I knew they made chucks for newborns, but I didn't know they had matching socks that looks likes chucks, I wish they had them for me"

Doug- "I know they are so cute, and this one says "Daddy's little princess, of course she has her own chucks just like her mommy, she has a few pairs, if they made socks like that for you, then I know you would get them.
